I've not seen anything diva about Marvin Harrison Jnr. He didn't do stuff at the combine or pro day, that's about all we have to level that charge at him and he explained quite clearly that he thinks it isn't useful, and the teams he interviewed with and who will end up drafting him told him...
You don't know that. Have to see how it plays out. If the Eagles continue to be as terrible as they were at the end of last season and Bowers (assuming that's the 1.04 pick) doesn't smash, it could easily be a win for you.
Fair play for having the conviction to get the trade done and put your...
Maybe. If Brooks timeline matches Gurley's he'll be on the field in week 3 or 4.
I think they'd make do till then if they are genuinely high on Brooks talent.
Had 3 or 4 RB2ish games last season as an injury cover spot starter. I don't think he's relevant in fantasy but him signing there might be relevant to the idea they are drafting Brooks and just want an easy to sideline, warm body to carry the load till he's ready.
Yeah for sure. A few posts after I did clarify my thoughts on his weight. I suspect he's probably within the 'acceptable' range of weight for a guy we hope has three down potential (205-220).
I also figured his weight could go a variety of ways. It's possible he becomes lighter once his...
They signed Royce Freeman a few days ago. Not exactly a thrilling signing, but someone who could take spot start workload for a few weeks while the rookie gets healthy/up to speed. Makes a lot of sense if they've earmarked Brooks as their guy.
We watched them both play. There is clearly a substantial difference right now.
Maybe he meant developmentally they can get to the same level, but they are, to anyone who watched, obviously not at the same level right now.
I just noticed that the weight which was listed for him in Socrates list (207) didn't match the one that was given at the combine (216).
I'm assuming most of the other weights were from the combine numbers so was just trying to help with consistency.
I don't see any Kamara in Jaylen Wright outside the fact they played for the Volunteers.
Makes no sense to me at all that comp.
I'm not really seeing the Benson/Peterson comp either but they are at least somewhat stylistically similar I suppose.
Best comp I've since for Brooks style wise is...
non TE premium if you aren't a top 5 tight end you are barely worth rostering. The tier 2 bucket of potential starters is large and basically undifferentiated. I'd take a well drafted young running back over one of them every time.
