That’s wild. That’s a similar population to the town I live in. Soccer is relatively big as a youth sport here, and I think we could cobble together an all ages team that’s roughly equivalent to a weak D1 college team.

Does anybody understand the details of the World Cup ticket situation? Seems so confusing...feels like almost any avenue to buying tickets is going to feel like I got scammed. I know they've already done the VISA lottery tickets, with multiple future rounds of ticket sales planned I see...

Not sure how he got them that cheap. And I don't know what the prices were for those selected in the lottery. Looking on ticket sites, ticketmaster currently has nothing. The cheapest group games I've seen (only checked a handful) range from $330-$500, with the Dallas games near the high end...
