1 defense rest of way and for playoffs? (1 Viewer)

I don't know if there's one team that's going to fit for every game for the next six weeks.

But I'm looking ahead and grabbing the Browns as part of my plan to guarantee my playoff slot. Not for this week, but next week they face the hapless "start any D against us" Carolina Panthers, and the week after, get the "who needs a QB" Dolphins. Two weeks down. Pairing with the Titans right now for this week and maybe a playoff week.

Not a single one. And even when you look like you have a sweet match up the unexpected still happens. See Giants/Cowboys. I thought my Giants defense was studly until that game happened.

I like the Redskins...they have been good so far and have a decent looking schedule. I think I'll hold for the rest of the year.

I picked up the Eagles for this schedule:

11 vs Giants

12 at Bears

13 vs Texans

14 at Cowboys

15 at Giants

16 vs Vikings

We play in a turnover heavy league. Two against Eli, you've got Cutler in there, the Cowboys, and it's hard to imagine better than the Vikings in the final week, especially if Favre somehow is still ambulatory and playing.

Other than weeks 13 & 15, the 49ers have an easy schedule

11: TB

12: @ARI

13: @GB

14:SEA

15 @SD

16: @STL

17: ARI

Chargers look pretty good most weeks.

Week 11: Broncos

Week 12: Colts

Week 13: Raiders

Week 14: Chiefs

Week 15: 49ers

Week 16: Bengals

Week 17: Broncos

Not sure if I'd buy the chargers. Chargers have played poorly against the Chiefs and Raiders this year and Broncos just torched KC which is a better defense than Chargers this year. Maybe TB. @SF, @BAL, ATL, @WAS, DET, SEA, @NO. New Orleans still gives up fantasy points so Atlanta would probably be the toughest matchup. Playoff schedule is really good though.

I am goin with a combo of the ATL & ARI DST's for the Weeks 14-15 matchups. Then I am going with the Saints or 49ers for the remainder. The 9ers go to StL Week 16 which is ok, not awesome.QUESTION FOR THE PANEL: if you don't have the Steelers, WHO IS THE BEST WEEK 16 DST MATCHUP as it looks right now?

I'm going with the Saints the rest of the way. Flacco doesn't scare me and the Falcons game will be really intense and would be the only game I would consider not starting them. With Porter and Greer having the bye week they are gonna be good.

11: Seattle

12: Dallas

13: Cincy

14: St. Louis

15: Baltimore

16: Atlanta

17: Tampa

No way of knowing other than to roll the dice on projecting defenses a week in advance and then even then. Case in point- all the hype on Tampa this week. It sure looked great! The results were less than spectacular. I am sure that owners of the G-Men were licking their chops with the cowboys coming into the big apple. No go on that plan. This year is just too hard to predict.
