I am constantly being encouraged to early vote, but no thanks.. I will soak it all in and then I will go into the booth on one of my favorite days, Presidential Election Day, and I will push that button with my fellow citizens. It will feel great and I will feel patriotic despite all this.

The Constitution only says that you can't be elected President more than twice. It doesn't say you can't be appointed to the presidency.

I think my board rep here (yeah, that really does sound as nerdy as everyone makes it out to be) would put me in the political type poster here, no?  So, really, this election season and all of them should be a wheelhouse for me to tee off in.

I kind of feel like how I imagine a condemned man feels once he has been given an execution date.

At one point the execution seemed more like a hypothetical, but once you get that execution date, #### gets real.  We have been joking about this election for so long, it never felt real.  

But, come November 8th, one of these clowns will become the next President-elect of the USA - a very scary and sobering thought.

I've been playing with some maps.

The odds of a recount in a deciding state, or, of a 269-269 tie, are underappreciated right now. It's real. It very well could happen. By next Tuesday, it very well could be what's most likely to happen.

There's a real probability that this isn't over in 5 days. It could be months.
