10 Team non-PPR draft choice - Which pick to choose? (1 Viewer)

I play in a competitive 10 team, NON-PPR redraft league. Standard scoring, 6pts per passing TD.

I have the first choice of where I want to pick in the snake. Do I just go with #1 and Ja’Marr Chase or try and get sneaky and drop back?

I'm weighing the value of something like #4 or even #9 vs taking Chase at #1 and then being strategic with my back-to-backs for the rest of the draft.

You could select 6, right in the middle, and be guaranteed CD, Saquon, or JJ and then come back at 2.05 and be in good position for Amon Ra, Puka, Henry, etc. If you move off of 1.01 look at tiers. Who would you like between 1.04 and 1.07, knowing that one of those guys will be there. In general, I like sitting in the middle if possible. I would suggest a mock with Chase and then do one at 1.06 and see how they both work out.

You could select 6, right in the middle,

I hate drafting in the middle. I would puck top 2 or bottom 2 in a 10 teamer. If you really want Chase/Gibbs the go top 2. If you don't mind the 8-10 range guys go there.
