NACKL Keeper league has 1 opening for 2009.

The "Eagles" Franchise which has just one keeper prospect for 2009 - Warner for an 8th rd pick. FULL ROSTER WITH 2008 draft pick noted here

NOTE - that with our league structure some teams declare ZERO keepers each year and are very competitive since no Rd1 or Rd2 picks can be protected.

Keep up to 4 players each year - nobody drafted in Rds1 or 2 can be protected the following year. You give up a draft pick for each keeper = 2 rounds higher than they were chosen.

Other highlights:

18 roster, no IDP - we fill our roster up to 16 on draft day and then up to 18 max starting with the first blind bidding free agency. No taxi, farm or injuired reserve roster slots.

No preseason waivers or moves - just declare keepers and draft.

Scoring: pretty standard with PPR (RB 0.5, WR 1.0, TE 1.5)

Hey Clipper,

i would be interested but the only day i could do it with no problem would be the 31st,and the 6th and 7th would have to be after 9 pm cause i dont get out of work until 8,plus what is a double header ?

Hi Jim. thanks for the interest!

Are you in the eastern time zone? If yes then we can accommodate a 9pm eastern start time.

Double headers are when you are scheduled to play 2 head-to-head games in the same week.

The league structure is 12 teams. The season will be 13 weeks long. There will two divisions of 6 teams with double header games against your division weeks 1-2, 11-13, and 8 games against the rest of the league.

Weeks #14 - #16 shall constitute playoffs.

MFL.com handles this well and live scoring, etc. allows you to watch / track both games.

With 18 game regular season it helps even out those bad luck scenarios where you have the 2nd highest score of the week but lose to #1.

Draft is set for Sun Aug 30 for Tim or anyone else that was waiting to see when it would be set.It will not be in the late evening as some others have drafts that night.Could be as early as 11am ET or as late as 4:30PM ET start.
