Our Benches are not particularly deep, but we used to only carry 12 spots, so I suspect 14 isn't too unusual.

Pretty standard format, no IDP. Start QB, 2 RB, 3 WR/TE, K, Defense

Our draft took about 3.5 to 4 hours this year, which is actually a bit longer than normal.

Mostly experienced guys so no one was really gumming up the works. Pizza and beer with the Packer game on.

I enjoy the draft so I'm never in a particular hurry. Some guys are always ranting about how long it takes.

12 team, 15 rounder, no time limit (the only time limit we have comes from the heckling for taking too long). league's been around for 11 years. our draft always lasts between 3.5-4 hours. league is filled with close friends/family so nobody is ever really in a rush to leave. helps that we hold it at a house that has a pool for the kids and spouses to spend the afternoon in. yours sounds about right.

12 teams, 16 rounds, no timer this year, took 1 hour 25 min. Fast, and pretty impressive.

16 teams, 17 rounds, 1:30 per pick through 10, 1:00 per pick through 14, :30 per pick through 17. - ~ 3:45

Last yr my draft 12 team 14 rd took bout 6 hrs! Gonna try to cut that down to 4 tomorrow

12 teams 16 rounds took 3 hours. You HAVE to set time limits and stick to them. No one wants to be there all night. How we fixed that is we set it up to do an online draft, but we all draft in person. Commish hooks his PC up to the bigscreen TV, and if you don't tell him who to pick in the allotted time the AI autodrafts for you.
