14-0 Patriots vs 0-14 Dolphins (1 Viewer)

First off let me say I am a diehard Pats fan. I realize there are 6 more weeks, and 11 more games to be played by the 2 teams, before this scenario could happen. But how funny would it be if the 0-14 Dolphins saved the '72 Dolphins and beat the 14-0 Patriots on 12/23. The old-timers from the undefeated team got to pop the champagne on Christmas Eve. The 2007 Dolphins end up 1-15, and the Patriots end up 15-1.

I realize the Pats still play PIT at home, and BAL on the road. However the game that is the most interesting is the only Saturday game, during the final week of the regular season, at NJ, vs the Giants. The Giants can rush a QB, and very well could be playing for home field advantage, or a playoff spot. Iif the Pats were 15-0 the would already have home field locked up being one game or more ahead of the Colts.

This would be so awesome... now I'm rooting for both teams to have "perfect" records going into this game.

First off, let me say, I'm a diehard Dolphins fan. But as much as I'd like to find a Dolphins upset of the Pats underneathe my Christmas tree, I gave up believing in Santa Clause a long time ago. There is absolutely no way by beloved Phins would beat the Patriots. No way. Period.

Unless of course, Brady, Moss, Maroney and about 10 other Pats were sitting out the game. Ah, then the game might actually be close... that is until Welker returns a punt for the game winning score, just for poetic justice.

Unlikely?... sure. But the Pats are bound to take the Fins lightly....The Dolphins will be playing for pride... only 3 chances left at that point to avoid a winless season. Could be some Pats injuries between now and then.Maybe 2 days before Christmas contributes to Patriots malaise.A Ginn punt return... a Brady INT for a pick 6... Chatman goes nuts.Definitely would create a small tear in the time space continuum if the Dolphins knock off the Pats. But it could happen.

The thing about BB is that he doesn't take anyone or anything lightly. The man was cheating against the JETS, for Pete's sake.

That being said, I could see one of their division-mates beating them, owing to familiarity. There would have to be a lot of fluke plays, though.

Shula hasn't been kind in his words about the Patriots in light of the scandal. I'd love to see it happen but 77-0 seems a more likely outcome.

Too bad the Fins are going to beat the Bills on Sunday to spoil this... :moneybag:
It looks like this 14-0/0-14 game will now happen. If the Patriots invited shula, and all the living players from the undefeated Dolphins team, to the game. How many do you think would show up? It was fun watching Shula at the Ravens game, he so desperately wanted the Patriots to lose.I admit I thought the Steelers were going to make it tougher for the Pats. I would not have been surprised if PIT beat them with a potenial playoff bye week still within reach. But with the Jets and 'Phins at home, and Giants (most likely resting key players week 17 for the week 18 wildcard game). It looks like 17-0 is closer to happening then ever before.

Big Pats fan here. If the teams are 14-0 & 0-14 and the Dolphins win, I will be laughing so hard. I will not be mad. I'll gladly raise a glass to the Dolphins' victory.

Well it would be the biggest upset in NFL history..But there is no way it would happen. Even without Moss and Brady NE is the better team. I know there is the old saying "stranger things have happened", but they havent
