Dispersal draft right away
16 team, 43 roster, IDP, salary, keeper
.. by far my favorite league, mostly because you can play a little bit all year long.
$65 fees with full payouts
16 team IDP with 40-43 roster spots, plus 3 IR, plus 8 Taxi
12 keepers each offseason, with salary increases (plus 8 Taxi with no salary increase)
PPR scoring
Play all offseason with 5 Auctions and 1 Rookie Draft
The 4 open teams will be distributed amongst the 4 new owners through a dispersal draft. We hope to get through a dispersal draft as soon as we can, to be ready for the keeper selections and 1st auction by March. In all, this league will hold 5 mini-auctions and 1 rookie draft, spread out about every 4 weeks between March and August. By September, our rosters are full, and we play a typical PPR-IDP season.
The keeper rules are structured well, and allow a lot of turnover of good players. If you have experience with IDP and salary cap auctions, you can be competitive in your first year. I didn't when I started, and still managed to step up in a couple years. There are a great pool of players and picks available this year; the open teams range from the lowest in the standings (early draft picks) to playoff contenders.
