Draft dates are 6th, 7th, 8th yet the first nfl game is on the 5th. If I draft say romo who has already played. Am I 1. Not allowed to play him week 1. Or 2, allowed to put him in the lineup while already knowing what he scored.

You have a choice of whether to put him in for week 1 or not.Youll see some marginal players who had good games go a bit higher than normal.
