2 Keeper Question (1 Viewer)

I can keep 2 players from my team and lose the pick in the round they were taken. This is a full PPR league, 6 points per passing td, 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1Flex. You can also only keep a player for 2 years max.

Zeke - 1st (can only keep 1 more year)

JK Dobbins - 5th

Lamar Jackson - 9th (can only keep 1 more year)

TJ Hockenson - 12th

Justin Herbert - 15th

James Robinson -15th

Initially I was going to go herbert and robinson since I would lose my last 2 picks and think that's great value but with Jax backfield not being that clear I'm wondering if I should go elsewhere. TJ and JK are both interesting options. Full disclosure, I drafted justin jefferson in the 13th but dropped him, that one's gonna hurt for 3 full years.

What pick do you have and how many QB's are usually kept?

Dobbins is the easy keeper but after that it comes down to Herbert and Hockensen for me.  If people jump on QB's early and often then I probably lean Herbert and just target Hock (or equal) in the mid rounds since you don't need to worry about QB if you are a Hock fan.

We don't find out picks until keepers are set. There's usually a few qb keepers as 6 points per passing td makes them valuable, the ones worth getting go earlier than in most standard drafts.

6 pt TD's for qb's really don't make qb's more valuable because they are still scoring the same in relation to other QB's.  The relative value is still the same other than rushing qb's dropping some in relation to other qb's.

Yeah I feel Herbert is the easiest decision of them all. After that, I'd probably lean Dobbins. The only asset I'd want in Jacksonville right now is Lawrence until we know more about how exactly they'll play.

bumping this back up, I think with the travis etienne news I have to keep J Rob in the 15th. The question now is do I stick with Herbert as my last pick or dobbins in the 5th? I would still probably grab at least 1 rb in the first or 2nd round but could focus on TE/WR whereas most will be scrambling for rbs

My first answer still holds true for me.  Dobbins is the easy first keeper and the second depends on how many QB's are usually kept.  However, I will say that if QB's are easy to acquire in the draft then I would switch from Hock to Robinson after the ETN news.
