I am commish of a Contract league and we are looking to get 2 ACTIVE owner to take over a team. This league is almost free (just a few bucks to cover site fees), but requires some work to stay up with rest of owners (at least 15-20 minutes every day from end of March through playoffs). Our rules try to mirror the NFL as much as possible. We use IDP's. League has been active 4 years now.
Generally:
Each player on a team must be signed to a contract. Each contract will include two items: 1) The salary the player is to receive for the current season. 2) The length of the contract.
Player salaries are paid with Cyber Bucks, the official currency of the league. Contract length is measured in years, current year included. The minimum salary allowed for an individual contract is 100 CB. The minimum length for an individual contract is 1 year.
Teams must comply with two restrictions on their total contract obligations: 1) A salary cap. 2) A contract years cap.
There are player mins and maxs for both IOP's and IDP's. We have an annual rookie draft. Each team has an active roster, along with a Taxui Squad (with an additional Cap structure) and a Practice Squad (no cap, limited to 2 players per year, 6 players max; only 5th and 6th round rookie picks qualify to be placed here). Each team has a yearly Franchise Player tag and 3 Restricted Free Agent tags.
