Oakland tied with Anaheim for 1st place (and 3rd best record in baseball).

Tigers 5 games below .500 yet only 3.5 games out of first.

Marlins in 1st place.

-Florida

-St Louis

-San Diego

-St Louis pitching

-Milwaukee hitting

-Cubs patience at the plate

Rollins and Victorino would miss several weeks, Howard would hit.163 and the Phils are still percentage points out of first thanks to Utley and Burrell.

Anything and everything Oakland. I've always thought it was among the best run organizations and this year they are proving it once again with a lot of young players and some unfamiliar names.

Cliff Lee

Ervin Santana

It is sad that the season is already 20% over. Too bad the season isn't year round.

AL Central being the most, dare I say, mediocre division in MLB.

Rich Hill ending up in the minros

Gavin Floyd's comeback

the Cardinals and A's Starting pitching

I knew Andruw Jones was over[aid, but this start is wretched.

even as a KC homer, I did not see Greinke being this good.

The slow start by the Mariners.

in addition to the other things people have mentioned, i'd add the NL West.

it was supposed to be a tightly contested division again and it still might, but it's looking more and more like the dbacks are just in a separate class.

i'm not sure if that's more surprising or if it's more surprising that we didn't all see it coming.

this team won the division last year with a bunch of 23 year olds and then added a 2nd ace.
