2006 NFL DRAFT (4 Viewers)

Ok this is kind of ridiculous. Williams, Justice, and Jackson must've failed drug tests for straight heroine or something.

Jackson or Williams should be off the board here with GB though.

Any chance it is Winston Justice that failed the drug test?

Strengths:

Has great size and long arms...Still has room to bulk up his large frame...A tremendous natural athlete...Very strong and powerful...An outstanding run blocker...Great pass blocker who protected the blindside of lefty quarterback Matt Leinart...Mobile and quick with good feet...Has only begun to scratch the surface of his potential and still has a ton of upside...Has 3 years of starting experience.

Weaknesses:

Is still very raw and needs to be developed in terms of his technique...Had arthroscopic surgery to repair a dislocated right shoulder after his freshman season...Immature and character is a question after a series of off-the-field incidents which led to his being suspended for the entire 2004 season.

Notes:

Played right tackle for the Trojans but might be able to play left as well...Didn't play football until his sophomore year in high school...Was a part of the famed 2002 Long Beach Poly high school class that also included Marcedes Lewis (U.C.L.A.), Darnell Bing (USC), Hershel Dennis (USC), and Manuel Wright (Miami Dolphins)...Has the ability and talent to be a premier NFL offensive tackle.
NFLNetwork says no.

Redskins gave up a #2 next year.
What's wrong with that?
When it goes with a #2 and #6 this year? A lot.
A 6th rounder is basically a throw in. They did the same thing to get Cooley and it's working out. They did this last year to get Campbell, and if he pans out, it was a good deal. They are trading future picks to make an investment now. If McIntosh pans out, he'll be a year ahead of whomever they would've taken this time next year.

It's like trading future lottery winnings for a lump sum payout now. If they invest the money wisely, it will be worth it.

Williams has SEVERE character issues. May be bi-polar. Remember Underwood?

Let's not forget that White is still there too...Guessing Lendale White goes to Denver?

Barrett Robbins?

THIS IS GD ANNOYING!! NO ANNOUNCING OF THE PICKS! Commericals every 2 mins!

Is NFL network's coverage like this?
Pretty much the same thing on NFL Network. Not as many commercials, though.

I remember that from last year. I was getting pissed that as soon as they were done with the 1st round, all they seemed to do was talk about the first round picks for the rest of the day and show you the 2nd/3rd round picks after the fact.

Trading down is working out well for the Bears ...they seem to be targeting TE or DB, and some options are still available as they approach their pick in a bit.

Severe? He grew up in the area where I used to live. Never heard that.

I was writing Chad Jackson to the Packers before the trade.

Interesting. Good pick by the Pats.

What a great franchise. Really, really great.

 Give Tom Brady one of the better rookie RBs and a potential gamebreaker at WR. Risky, but maybe I'm still drinking BB's kool-aid, the simple fact that New England picked these guys bumps them up in my book, as talents.
