2007 MBSL5 IDP League - Signup Thread (1 Viewer)

Twilight, I have a question.

Would it be easy to somehow see how many times a guy scores for a team? I´ve always been curious about how often my late-round picks end up being my starters for a week, but I´m too lazy to do the legwork. I know that the one survivor I did the best in I got scoring from some real scrubs at important times... I also wonder if it would show some patterns for future drafts - something like, "5th RBs only count 8% of the time, but 3rd DTs count 22% of the time.¨

I just don´t know how you´ve got your databases set up - if that´s anything other than super-easy, forget about it.

Didn't spot this when you posted it.If you look at the Scoring Breakdown there are ! pts in a column next to the score. These show which players were used in the scoring calculations. Unfortunately, the option isn't available for the Scoring History, which would make it a lot easier to tell at a glance. Occasionally, I'll get some time, and play around (import some stuff into Excel and play with the numbers), but I don't have an easily checkable system.

No problem - I just set up a spreadsheet that figures it out for me if I paste in the datea from your scoring history page.

After two weeks, my guys have counted the following number of times:

1 Marc Bulger

1 Jay Cutler

0 Gus Frerotte

2 Shaun Alexander

0 Ron Dayne

2 Ahman Green

0 Kenny Watson

0 LenDale White

2 Chris Chambers

1 Jerricho Cotchery

2 Derrick Mason

0 Josh Reed

0 Charles Sharon

0 Brad Smith

1 Reggie Wayne

0 Mike Williams

1 Bubba Franks

1 Heath Miller

0 Marcus Pollard

2 Jason Elam

0 Justin Medlock

2 John Henderson

0 Derrick Burgess

2 Chris Kelsay

0 Osi Umenyiora

1 Clark Haggans

0 Clint Ingram

0 Brandon Moore

2 Barrett Ruud

2 Adalius Thomas

1 Demorrio Williams

1 Erik Coleman

1 LaRon Landry

2 Kerry Rhodes

2 Darren Sharper

0 Ko Simpson

I'm down three players already: Simpson to IR, Sharon and Medlock to cuts.

So Mike Williams, Clint Ingram, Brad Smith, and Gus Frerotte have been just as important to my team as Derrick Burgess and Marc Bulger.
