Jaguars--> 5 playoff teams at home (GB, Pitt, Minny, Tenn, Indy) should be GREAT for ticket sales. Also looking forward to a Bears-Jags game @ Soldier field.

Shaping up to be a exciting, albeit tough season. But a healthy dose of media exposure is just what the Jags needed. ;)

Well, 4 + 1 almost playoff (Minn)...

Wow, the Steelers' schedule is brutal:

Pittsburgh Steelers

Home: Baltimore, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Houston, Indianapolis, Dallas, N.Y. Giants, San Diego

Away: Baltimore, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Philadelphia, Washington, New England

10 non-divisional games...all against teams with .500 or better records this year; 8 of which are playoff teams. I know a lot can and will change between this year and next, but they are going to have a struggle to repeat this year's record.

W = opp. Wins in 2007

Pitts has the most difficult schedule.

NE and SD have a soft schedule.

NE has the softest schedule....

It's really sick that the Patriots are going to have the softest 2008 schedule on top of their #7 draft pick.

just looking at it now, LJ's schedule is flat-out juicy:

Home: Denver, Oakland, San Diego, Buffalo, Miami, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, Tennessee

Away: Denver, Oakland, San Diego, New England, N.Y. Jets, Atlanta, Carolina, Cincinnati

a cakewalk schedule against the league's worst run defenses from 2007..

its going to be great to see NYG playing in Cleveland and Pittsburgh next season!

NE has the softest schedule....
Not surprising considering they get four games against the Jets & Dolphins.
Buffalo gets those games too, although they made the Jets games closer than they should've been. Buffalo has 9 tough opponents this coming year: NE x2, SD, SEA, CLE, JAX, AZ, STL, DEN. STL & DEN listed because I don't think Denver can go under .500 next season. And STL's record isn't an indication of how good that team is, IMO (Bulger, SJax, Holt). They are a good team, I think a coaching change will fix things there.

Detroit Lions

Home: Chicago, Green Bay, Minnesota, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Washington

Away: Chicago, Green Bay, Minnesota, Atlanta, Carolina, Houston, Indianapolis, San Francisco

The Lions have a tough schedule for a bad team, and an especially brutal home schedule.

Philadelphia Eagles

Home: Dallas, N.Y. Giants, Washington, Arizona, St. Louis, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Atlanta

Away: Dallas, N.Y. Giants, Washington, San Francisco, Seattle, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Chicago

There are a bunch of really bad pass defenses on this list. More encouragement for those targeting McNabb as a value pick next year. (And yes, he will be back with the Eagles.)

I'm getting sick of Pittsburgh drawing New England every stinking year. What the heck is up with that?
Division leaders face other division leaders. It's the same reason that the Pats and Steelers keep playing the Chargers and Colts, and the Cowboys will face the Packers again. It makes for more interesting matchups, even though it can result in the same teams seeing each other again and again.
