2010 Fantasy Football Rookie Draft (1 Viewer)

What if your league could do their rookie draft picks over from last year?

#1 Dez Bryant WR Dallas

#2 Jahvid Best RB Detroit

#3 Ryan Mathews RB San Diego

#4 Mike Williams WR Tampa Bay

#5 Demaryius Thomas WR Denver

#6 CJ Spiller RB Buffalo

#7 Aaron Hernandez TE New England

#8 Legarrette Blount RB Tampa Bay

#9 Jimmy Graham TE New Orleans

#10 Jermaine Gresham TE Cinci

#11 Arrelious Benn WR Tampa Bay

#12 Rob Gronkowski TE New England

Thoughts? Blount too low? Best too high?

I'd drop Best a couple spots. Williams would be #3 for me, possibly even higher.

I'd be tempted to take Blount over Spiller, also. I wasn't a fan of Spiller pre-draft, and his rookie season didn't do anything to help change that opinion.

Hernandez and Thomas would be dropped several spots. And yeah, Bradford would be on the list.

Well shouldn't Benn be in front of MW?

There is a clear top 7

1. Mathews

2. Best

3. Williams

4. Spiller

5. Bryant

6. Bradford

7. Starks

8. Graham

9. Bount

10. Gresham

11. Gronkowski

12. Mccluster

Wow, then from all your opinions I had a pretty killer dynasty draft last year.

1st: CJ Spiller

2nd: Rob Gronkowski

2nd: Jermaine Gresham

3rd: Aaron Hernandez

4th: James Starks

DYNASTY

1. Bradford. Yes, I think he will be that good. I am talking getting Peyton Manning from his rookie year onward.

2. Ryan Matthews. Injuries just took him out...still think he can contribute.

3. Mike Williams. Concerns over a 1-year only breakout, and his catch % was pretty horrible. But still the best WR based on year 1.

4. Blount. Tore up the TB backfield once he got on the field, and that was after missing all their pre-season activities. With 1 year under his belt, look out.

5. Dez Bryant. Would be a LOT higher except for maturity issues.

6. Jahvid Best. Had basically 1 good game, and may be relegated to part-time role with LeShore coming in.

7. Aaron Hernandez. Was a top-5 TE until he got banged up late in the season.

8. Jimmy Graham. I don't quite buy the hype of a top-5 talent, but the opportunity is there this season.

9. CJ Spiller. Has to get more playing time so we can see what they have.

10. Demaryus Thomas. Looked decent until injury.

11. Aurilius Benn. Same as above.

12. Starks. I just think that there is too much competition on Green bey for him to make a huge impact, and that is a passing team anyway.

What in blue blazes did Ryan Mathews do to make anyone be high on him? Even when he was in the game he looked slow, inflexible, and down right just another guy

No,because the perceived value right now of williams is so much higher. you could trade mike williams for so much more than benn right now its not a question. But I myself would stay away and grab benn for less than even half the value

i thought he looked pretty good. i dont profess to have any sort of scouting skills like go deep possesses but so i can just fall back on the chargers evaluation.

Those of you dropping Dez are pretty crazy.

Dez was the clear #1 to me last year and nothing has changed.

Kid got hurt and has a few off field problems and your going to run from him. Fine by me.

Dez is going to be a superstar...believe in #88 folks.

Clearly an unbiased observer. ;)

The #1 WR how? He was 3rd on the team in targets, almost 1.5 per game less than Austin and 2 less than Witten. And the difference was even bigger with Romo at QB. He also caught a smaller percentage of his passes than Austin and Witten and averaged less yards per catch than the other 2 Cowboys WR's, almost 2 ypc less than Williams and over 2.5 less than Austin. Not sure how you define "clear #1" but i bet it has something to do with your screen name.

I think people are forgetting just how dynamic and amazing Jahvid Best looked when healthy last year. No way he's outside the top 3 (in PPR), even with Leshoure coming on board. View him in a Jamaal Charles like role where he gets all of the receiving.

Clear #1 2010 rookie pick going into the rookie fantasy draft is what I was saying.

Ah, that makes more sense, i disagree, but i understand.

And het half the production. Give me the guy with success and is a budding superstar.

Redid the rankings based on your responses. I somehow missed Bradford on the original list

#1 Dez Bryant WR Dallas

Off field issues but all-pro talent.

#2 Ryan Mathews RB San Diego

Needs to play much better and stay healthy.

#3 Sam Bradford QB St. Louis

Looks like a future star.

#4 LeGarett Blount RB Tampa Bay

Will he stay out of trouble?

#5 Mike Williams WR Tampa Bay

Tremendous rookie season.

#6 Jimmy Graham TE New Orleans

On every sleeper list for '11.

#7 Jahvid Best RB Detroit

Interesting year coming up for Best.

#8 Aaron Hernandez TE New England

Solid TE starter for the foreseeable future.

#9 CJ Spiller RB Buffalo

Pretty average for a rookie.

#10 Jermaine Gresham TE Cincy

Should look even better with a West Coast offense in '11.

#11 Demaryius Thomas WR Denver

Probably not going to help your team until '12.

#12 Arrelious Benn WR Tampa Bay

Don't give up on Benn just yet.

I'd put Benn above Thomas and Ford above him as well, knocking Thomas right off this top-12 list.

You're seriously underestimating the severity of his injury, and down-playing the highly likely possibility that he'll never approach the same ability again.
