Tony Moss, from SportsNetwork.com, reports Pete Carroll's draft strategy will be laid bare twice in the first 14 picks, as Seattle picked up an extra first-round pick thanks to a 2009 draft-day deal that helped Denver select cornerback Alphonso Smith in the second-round. One of those early picks, it stands to reason, will be spent on a left tackle candidate to fill the void left by the probably retiring Walter Jones. You can bet Carroll and Seattle's scouts have watched a ton of tape on tackles Russell Okung (Oklahoma State), Bryan Bulaga (Iowa), Trent Williams (Oklahoma) and Anthony Davis (Rutgers). With their second pick, the Seahawks could be in the market for a running back like C.J. Spiller (Clemson), but No. 14 would be a reach for Ryan Mathews (Fresno State) or any of the other backs.
