13 wins for the Cowboys seems far fetched, the rest of NFC East is predicted to hover at .500 which would suggest Dallas sweeping the division. The Giants, Philly, and Redskins will be tough this year I cant imagine Dallas winning all 6 of these matchups. Also the schedule is brutal having to face NO, Minnesota, Ariz, and the AFC South. 11 wins is a more realistic projection IMO with at least one other NFC East team winning 10 games.

Pretty decent predictions I think. I do think oakland will be improved, but not quite that much.edit: BTW, I almost put Too Low on Philly and Cincy, but i see both teams at 9-7 or 10-6, so within 2 games of the prediction, so I left it alone. The ones I gave a Too high or Too low are the ones I see as 2 or more games different than the prediction.

The Seahawks going 10-6 is laughable. They will definitely be in the Jake Locker sweepstakes at the end of the season (along with Tampa, Buffalo and Cleveland).

Here's my feelings:

Baltimore looks like the early favorite to win the superbowl with the added weapons on offense but is this the year the defense declines?

- They lost all their depth along the DL (J.Bannan, D. Edwards)

- Holdovers Kelly Greg (34) and Trevor Price (35) are getting way up there in age.

- Foxworth was lost for the year making an already precarious CB situation even worse.

- Ed Reed won't be 100% for quite some time depending on which reports you read.

- Terrance Cody should make an impact but how often can he play with his conditioning issues?

- Sergio Kindle is unfortunately hurt and unlikely to make an impact this season.

Prediction: 10-6

People are overacting to one good off-season by the Raiders.

- They still have one of the worst offensive lines and WR cores in football.

- If Campbell struggled behind Washington's line last year is there any reason to expect improvement in Oakland?

- Lamar Houston and Rolando McClain should help the defense... but they were ranked 25th last year according to FootballOutsiders, there's no reason to expect them to suddenly vault into the top 10 which they would need to in order to make up for what is sure to be a bottom half of the league unit on offense again.

Prediction: 6-10

The Chargers are going to fall into mediocrity

- Every single unit on the team was subpar and was carried by the best passing offense in football in 2009

- Losing V. Jax and especially Marcus McNeil for any part of the season will affect the passing offense and thus the rest of the team

- What a terrible draft - They gave 2 high picks to get Ryan Matthews? There is nothing special about this guy expect for a nice size/speed combo.

Prediction: 8-8

The Texans are going to fall back to earth:

- Abysmal draft, Kareem Jackson will be liability and Ben Tate was very mediocre... th

- Cushing was one of the best defensive players in the league last season, no joke... losing him for any amount of time will hurt

- Schedule is much, much tougher this year

Prediction: 6-10
