I have a hard time thinking that the Seahawks are going to be up for it enough to beat the Rams. Rams already clinched.

I also think the Vikings beat Detroit. They can hang offensively and have a good enough defense. Like the Vikings at home in this one, although Campbell will have them ready and will definitely (credit to Bobby Layne for this) leverage his opportunities the best way he can. I don’t doubt we won’t see at least one 4th and going for it and maybe about three of them. No surprises here.

The more I type, the more I think Detroit wins. That’s gotta be a pick ‘em, no?

Rams are sitting a bunch of players, right?
For some reason they are. Makes no sense to me that they wouldn't be trying to get the #3 seed. Much rather play GB/Wash, than have to face the loser of Lions/Vikings.
It'll be interesting to see which WRs are active....I have a feeling that McVay believes he can beat this CHawk team with Garoppolo, Corum, etc....and I'm not sure he's wrong

They needed OT to beat them earlier in the year.

The only logical explanation seems to point to getting guys healthy again. Maybe he knows he has some guys who have some nagging injuries and that outweighs the benefit of the seeding. I agree, it doesn’t make much sense on paper for what we know anyhow.

Ah, that explains the line then which confused me the last couple of days.

As a Vikings fan, should they get the 5th seed I'd rather play the Rams than the Bucs. I genuinely don't understand why the Rams would prefer to play the Commanders - which, after a heck of a season and an A+ for Daniels, still seem like the much more flawed team compared to the Vikings.

So, yeah, I don't understand the Rams' decision.

But, keep in mind, that one of the Vikings' losses earlier this season was to the Rams. Have we forgotten that already?

Apparently we’ve forgotten that game was looking like a back n forth shootout until Christian Darrisaw’s season ended.
