Easy way to guarantee the bust streak continues America.
Someone will find a reason he was a "bust". Maybe his Ints, or losing in the playoffs to a team with a losing record.Wasn't it Brees this year? He didn't bust.
No... it's the knee injury that he sustained week 3 that they tried to cover up all year and then finally admitted to in January.Someone will find a reason he was a "bust". Maybe his Ints, or losing in the playoffs to a team with a losing record.Wasn't it Brees this year? He didn't bust.
Or that. Either way, most of the recent examples of the Madden curse is just people reaching for things.No... it's the knee injury that he sustained week 3 that they tried to cover up all year and then finally admitted to in January.Someone will find a reason he was a "bust". Racism is alive and well in America. Pretty sure that a black RB from the Browns with less than 1200 rushing yards would not have even gotten out of the first round.PEYTON HILLIS

HAHAHA I knew someone was gonna say something so absurd and rediculous like this. I has nothing to do with racism.Racism is alive and well in America. Pretty sure that a black RB from the Browns with less than 1200 rushing yards would not have even gotten out of the first round.PEYTON HILLIS![]()
It might not be racism, but it certainly is racial. You can't possibly argue that Hillis got out of the first round if this voting, if he were black. Ray rice had more yards rushing and more receiving. Mendenhall had more rushing and more touchdowns. If you wanted to make a case for a break out running back who came out of no where to have an epic season, well, gosh, I don't know how you could look further than Foster, who had 450 more yards rushing, 120 more yards receiving and 5 more touchdowns. If you're doing it strictly on performance, Foster is clearly the running back that should have advanced to the finals.No. Hillis isn't on the cover because he is the best running back, a break out running back, a fantasy mvp, or any other reason than he's the first white 1000 yard rusher since 1986. Race has everything to do with his popularity.HAHAHA I knew someone was gonna say something so absurd and rediculous like this. I has nothing to do with racism. What a pathetic statement.Racism is alive and well in America. Pretty sure that a black RB from the Browns with less than 1200 rushing yards would not have even gotten out of the first round.PEYTON HILLIS![]()
Or maybe just the fact that the team and city of Cleveland had a huge campaign to help thier player win the vote? Maybe that was it?It might not be racism, but it certainly is racial. You can't possibly argue that Hillis got out of the first round if this voting, if he were black. Ray rice had more yards rushing and more receiving. Mendenhall had more rushing and more touchdowns. Or maybe it had something to do with the fact that one player brutally killed innocent dogs in a horrible and disgusting way and the other guy didn't. Maybe that's why?Or maybe just the fact that the team and city of Cleveland had a huge campaign to help thier player win the vote? Maybe that was it?It might not be racism, but it certainly is racial. You can't possibly argue that Hillis got out of the first round if this voting, if he were black. yeah, I'm sure that was it.Or maybe just the fact that the team and city of Cleveland had a huge campaign to help thier player win the vote? Maybe that was it?
If that were the case, why was vick in the finals to begin with? Wouldn't he have lost in the first round? You can certainly make the case that vick making the finals was racial as well, as I imagine a disproportionate amount of Vick voters were african american, a community he is, was, and has always been immensely popular in.Or maybe it had something to do with the fact that one player brutally killed innocent dogs in a horrible and disgusting way and the other guy didn't. Maybe that's why?
Come on. You're better than that. That's not even an intelligent response.yeah, I'm sure that was it.Or maybe just the fact that the team and city of Cleveland had a huge campaign to help thier player win the vote? Maybe that was it?Does cleveland even have internet access yet?
Actually, what it was, was a joke. Lighten up, Francis. Just because someone played the race card, doesn't mean you have to lose your sense of humor.Come on. You're better than that. That's not even an intelligent response.yeah, I'm sure that was it.Or maybe just the fact that the team and city of Cleveland had a huge campaign to help thier player win the vote? it could be racism based but it was really a real life troll executed by the 4chan forums.Racism is alive and well in America. Pretty sure that a black RB from the Browns with less than 1200 rushing yards would not have even gotten out of the first round.PEYTON HILLIS![]()
ya this is what happened.4chan is the like the birthplace for all internet memes and trolling. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4chanA buddy of mine heard on the Dan Patrick show that there was an internet campaign to get Hillis on the cover as kind of a joke. Because he's a pretty average talent so it's kind of funny. And yes, probably because he's a white RB, too.
If that were the case than Mike Alstott should have been on it 10 years ago.Maybe the Madden franchise has lost so much popularity that they needed an average white guy to represent just how mediocre it has become. Heard you get a free Big Mac and a Coke when you preorder.
They have electricity AND the internet in Cleveland?? Wow.. Seems to me it came down to biceps. Hillis were bigger than Fosters.. and all the man curshes on HillisSeriously though.. Foster earned the cover..Or maybe just the fact that the team and city of Cleveland had a huge campaign to help thier player win the vote? No one earns a Madden cover. It isn't some league award. It is based on internet voting. They have electricity AND the internet in Cleveland?? Wow.. Seems to me it came down to biceps. He also had 11 rushing TDs and 61 receptions, but obviously what you are saying is at least partially true.Racism is alive and well in America. Pretty sure that a black RB from the Browns with less than 1200 rushing yards would not have even gotten out of the first round.PEYTON HILLIS![]()

Did Aaron Rodgers want to be on the cover and does that play into it? Serious question. I would assume if a guy does not want to be on the cover that they don't have to be, maybe that is the reason.Seriously....how did Aaron Rodgers not win this?
He lost against Hillis in the semi's.It's pretty obvious there was an internet joke campaign to get Hillis the #1 spot. That's what they get for making it based on internet "votes."Did Aaron Rodgers want to be on the cover and does that play into it? Serious question.
