I'm not sure I've really tuned in the past couple of years, but this looks like training camp half-speed.

Awful.

I'm about to go try and find replays of the Patriots press conference. This game is making me eagerly anticipate Super Bowl hype.

I'm sure this is an NFL.com mistake, but they have Philip Rivers catching 2 passes for 34 yards on the first drive. Then again, it is the Pro Bowl and a non-running qb with a bad knee probably could catch passes.

I have to admit that I do watch some of this game each year for the novelty value, and always end up agreeing with the sentiment of name the players, have a skills competition, skip the game entirely.

Funny. Cam Newton finally looks like a rookie... in the Pro Bowl. Sophmore Slump?
For some reason, maybe because he was a rookie, Newton was the only NFC QB who was receiving all out pressure from the AFC defense. If Newton was treated the same way that Rodgers or Brees was, then maybe he wouldn't have looked so bad.

I'd rather see them have an offense, defense and reserve squad go against the CFL all-stars. I turned to another channel before the 1st quarter was over. Yeah, just name the players, give them a bonus and be done with it.

I liked the way the special teams guys reached their hands almost all the way up on "attempting" to block FG/extra points.

I'm thinking we may (should) have seen the last of the "Pro" Bowl.

Here's an idea I had to generate some interest in the game, though it wouldn't matter if the players "play" like that. I'd like to see the coaches draft their teams, ala hockey, but with a twist. For team-A, you get an offensive coach to draft a team, with the restiction that he has to draft his 11 offensive starters first, and team-B goes defense first. Take it from there...

Ya know, the "Pro" Bowl needs a new name. A "Professional" cares about the quality of his work.

I tuned in close to half time and enjoyed watching it. If you don't enjoy it, nobody's forcing you to watch...

This game could really use some change. I think they would be better off skipping the players playing and maybe just honor the Pro-Bowl selected players at halftime of the senior bowl or something? Try to build it around some game that counts for something.

Apparently you missed it. On the second play of the NFC's first possession, they handed the ball off. The lineman stood up & danced. They didn't block, they didn't tackle, and the ball-carrier stood with the ball between them waiting for someone to tackle him. It was like a Friday, no pads practice. The fans booed. It sucked. I went down the street to watch the neighbors 12-year old play Pee-wee hockey (and I don't like hockey at all!).

The Pro Bowl will not go away, and they won't change a thing. NFL still makes money off of it, and Honsetly the players don't want to get rid of it. Many of the players were pissed last year when they moved it to Miami, they see it a chance to take their Family to Hawaii for week.
