Very interesting split of the bye weeks for the 2013 season

Week 4 - GB & Carolina

Week 5 - Pitt, Washington, Minnesota & TB

Week 6 - Miami & Atlanta

Week 7 - Oakland & NO

Week 8 - Balt, Houston, Indi, Tenn, SD & Chicago

Week 9 - Jax, Denver, NYG, Detroit, Arizona & SF

Week 10 - NE, NYJ, Cleveland & KC

Week 11 - Dallas & STL

Week 12 - Buffalo, Cin, Phil & Seattle

Interesting change on the bye week spread. Last year the bye week period began in week 4 and ended in week 11. Week 4 had two teams on bye, week 7 had six teams on bye and all the rest had four.

Having six teams each on bye in weeks 8 and 9, close to mid-season would seem to increase the negative impact to the teams having the really early (weeks 4 & 5) or late (weeks 11 & 12) compared to those 12 teams in weeks 8 and 9.
