*** 2013 Official Philadelphia Eagles - NFC EAST CHAMPS*** (1 Viewer)

In 20 hours we will all be saying that was one of the best or the worst days of our year. Won't be sleeping tonight.
I told my wife last night that I will be either really, really happy or really, really pissed.

So hard to not watch this SF/ARI game and hope for SF to win so we'd play New O if we win tonight. Or maybe we'd rather SF. I know, I know... but I can't help it!

How can you not want NO?

The Saints on the road this year have scored 16, 26, 27, 20, 17, 7, 16 and 13. They're not the same team on the road.

Let's take care of business tonight.

Not thrilled to see the Pack make the playoffs. You knew the Bears would've been as good as cooked if they squeaked in. Pack could go on a run a la their SB run in 2010, it's already setting up that way.

True... I wanted New O all along but then after they put up that many points, I thought they might have a lot of confidence and super bowl experience. SF would have no confidence and have a 2nd game on the road in a row which is tough. Either way, winner of tonights game officially hosts New O.

I thought about this too, but its impossible for us to play them until the NFC Championship game. And if we make it to that game, I'll be pretty stoked whoever we get to play. Plus, if the Packers make it there, then that means we'd get to host them. What would you rather, play at home vs GB or on the road vs Seattle?

Anything at home.

A fully healthy Rodgers without 7 weeks of "wear and tear" scares the crap out of me though, looked primed to beat SF @ home next week today in a big revenge game for them from last season.

Exactly... so you're happy that GB made it, because you'd rather face GB at home if we made it to the NFC Championship game, then have to likely travel to Seattle like we would have if the Bears won today.

I think the SF could beat SEA, but I have serious doubts GB could. Not sure PHI can beat CAR, but it's much more probable than having to beat NO in NO.

Yep, SF could beat sea... and if they did, then it wouldn't be any worse playing SF at home then GB. My only point was that GB making it is a GOOD thing for us almost regardless of how it all plays out. Was cheering for GB the whole way because they have a better shot at taking out SF/Sea then Chicago does, and SF/SEA are the teams I'd want to avoid the most.

Why don't we just worry about winning this game? And then enjoy that while it lasts? For a team projected to finish last in the division, lets just enjoy the ride.

I am, and like I said, I'm trying not to think ahead, but in this hour leading up to the game, its the only thing that's calming my nerves and keeping me sane right now haha

@GeoffMosherCSN: #Eagles broken team record for total net yards in a season, surpassing their total of 6,386 yards set in 2011. #EaglesTalk #SNF

@Eagles: #Eagles just surpassed the 2001 St. Louis Rams (96) for the most 20-yard plays in a season. Stat has been tracked since 1995. #FlyEaglesFly

Oof. Guess the thing to remember in times like this are the expectations coming into the season.
Reverse jinx actually work.

Hopefully next week they play as if they are playing with house money. Open up the playbook, run the hurry up, etc. At least go out in exciting fashion.

Congrats guys. With Chicago out, I'll be rooting for you guys.

To be honest, I think they have a punchers chance against anyone in the nfc but Seattle.

How many records did Chip and Nick set this year? This really has been an historic year. Amazing when you think where we were 1 year ago. We had coaches fighting with each other on the sidelines being separated by players.
