*** 2013 Official Philadelphia Eagles - NFC EAST CHAMPS*** (2 Viewers)

I ain't scared of no Aints. They can score..as can we....but I'll take our D over theirs....AND 10 day forcast is saying it'll be a high of 30 on Sat. Let's get some more cold and som percipitation!

Pretty amazing. We have a Saturday night playoff game. And it's at The Linc!!! :pickle:
I'm going to have to put the governor on to an extent to avoid getting too :banned: and enjoy this playoff game.

:excited:

Gotta stop Brees, it's hard but doable from past history at home. Concentrate on the D this week and get it done!

Loving this right now but this game is going to be tough. Throw out the Saints record on the road outdoors. They won a Super Bowl 4 years ago. They have playoff experience with a great head coach and Hall of Fame QB. You have to take it to another level for the playoffs and these guys will know how. This week of preparation will have to be our best of the year.

Without hyperbole....I think the Saints are getting a bit of "reputation" break. Payton, Brees and Graham are The Men......but I don't know....they feel more like the end of an era than the beginning or the middle.

You earn a reputation in the NFL. We have to earn ours by beating the old guard.

I hope they figure out they have to cover that big freak with everything they got, AND THAT DOESNT INCLUDE PATRICK CHUNG!

I imagine that the Cowboys sort of laid the game plan to stop the Eagles. Eagle's O was pretty bad esp. considering this was the Cowboys. Wonder if Rob Ryan will be an advantage or disadvantage next week?

Either way, Foles certainly has a few things to work on. Still early in his career and expected him to be figured out (relatively speaking) and have to respond. Hopefully Chip has some plays up his sleeve that don't involve Brad Smith.

Congrats Philly. As a fan of the Cowboys, it kills me to say it, but you were most deserving. Duck alumn from 2000. Mancrush on Chip Kelly. You got yourselves one hell of a coach and a really strong team. Congrats.

True......but this point in the game we're playing with house money....and I gamble big when I have house money......so I'm not going to be too conservative in regards to deferring to old reputations in the NFL.

Hopefully Wolff is back. Haven't watched a ton of the Saints but from reading the past few weeks, it appears this is the way to stop them. Double Graham and dare them to beat you another way. Although I guess that didn't work today.

Not saying be conservative. In fact quite the opposite. Go out there and smash them in the mouth to let them know we're not just happy to be here. We're here to send you to the golf course. Get your tee times ready old heads. Just hope the coaches emphasize that it's time to take it up a notch.

Any chance Earl Wolff plays?

Thanks, boss. Appreciate it, hope we rep the division well.

Never stop watching the tape of the weeks where he put up duds, and see if there's a way we can take a stab at replicating.

Week 10: @ Dallas: 5/59/0

Week 11: SF: 6/41/0

Week 15: @ StL: 2/25/0

Study the crap out of these games, formulate a game plan, and hope for the best.

BTW, Kendricks played like a beast!
Agreed. That draft won us this game. Foles, Boykin and Kendricks. Brown added the TD run. Curry and Cox didn't do much but that draft is :moneybag:

Hopefully the TE killing us was just us game planning against Dez. But these LB's will be tested between Graham, Sproles and Ingram.

Also, anyone catch Chip's presser? Any rationale behind putting the reins on the offense? Seemed very conservative (apart from the wildcat) and slow.

1-3 to 10-6 and the division champs. What a season!
Incredible. Almost as incredible as Carolina's 1-3 to 11-5 haha, just kidding. But gotta think Rivera and Chip will be the front runners now for COY with Zona/Bears missing playoffs and KC slipping late. WOO!

I like our chances too, but they have the 4th ranked D in the NFL... ours is 29th. I take their D over ours, but our Offense over theirs ;)

No BS. We go I'm taking you. My word.
:tebow: I'm there. I will make my wife understand this.

"Some dude from the internet wants to take me to the Super Bowl. I'm going."
It has a way better effect if you use my username.
:lmao: yes, definitely use his user name when telling your wife. And if she somehow stops you from going, I will gladly take his place haha! Will fly from Western Canada to NYC in a heartbeat to see the birds in the superbowl.

Spontaneously flew out a few years back to see the PHI @ NYG playoff game too... which we won. So if you want someone who's undefeated watching the birds in NY in the playoffs, and Insein's wife locks him up, I'm your guy!

12-4. Rivera should win COTY.

Kendricks, Fletcher, Boykin, etc... I don't care how bad they can be, I'm loving our defensive guys!!!! They played with so much heart when bad calls, and Foles' struggles vs the pressure stunned our offense. So excited for next week!!!!!! GO EAGLES!!!!!!

Ahh, right. My bad. Ya I think Ariens, Reid, Chip, and Bill will all get some votes though. Could be an interesting race.

I feel like our defensive ranking is more indicative of a team making a huge transition from 4-3 to 3-4 and struggled early. they stuck with the scheme and Billie Davis deserves a ton of credit. I feel like next year, this defense will see a huge jump in rankings with hopefully some help in the secondary from the draft.

Howie Deserves a ton of credit. We ripped Reid for his horrible drafting and the supposed first draft he didn't have the final call is the best draft of the last 10 years. So Howie has a bright future at GM.

Foles was all Andy though. Regardless, excited to have Howie and Chip drafting next year and beefing up our defense and giving us a few more fun offensive weapons. Ertz is turning into quite the pick, he's gonna catch a lot of balls next year.

That's what they say cause he was a QB but I'm sure it was Howie.

Ya I think it was a combination, but a lot was Marty pushing for him too. Andy loved what he saw in Foles though and was on the same page with Marty in that they wanted him badly. Here's a cool article on it:

Some of that reeks of coach speak after the story broke that the Eagles tried to get Wilson and Kaepernick. Lucked out a bit with Foles no doubt.

It's not house money. This team earned it. It's their money to lose.

Eagles didn't play their best but battled and found a way to win on the road. This team has been ridiculously fun to watch!!

Jealous of you guys who are in Philly for the coming game, should be awesome Saturday night. Just sold my wildcard tix on Stubhub, can't get up for the Saints game. That would be awesome to watch.

Special teams was better and defense made some plays when they had to. If offense is 'on' the Saints will have a tough time improving on a 3-5 road record. Like the potential matchup v Carolina also.

This team is healthy and seems to be soooooo well conditioned. Heard Differ in the post game talking about all the rest cycles and nutrition changes Kelly and the staff introduced. Said something to the effect that the Eagles are the 'freshest team' entering the playoffs. And, with a 7-1 record the second half of the season we're arguably the hottest as well.

This may sound like BS but even though I was on the edge of my seat, I just never felt like they'd blow the game. Can't say that about the last few years. I can not get over this turnaround. Other than the Philiies run in '08, this has to be the best memory of a Philly team that I've had.

And the feeling of optimism just can't be beat especially on the heels of how Amaro is ruining what could have been a year overe year contender across the street.

Like everyone else, I get the feeling of playing with "house money" but hey why not us right now!?

Rob Ryan is gonna blitz Foles like crazy. If Foles can make 'em pay--they'll win this!

Team really showed up when they stayed with the run as the pass rush was really discombobulating Foles.

Good coaching and good play by about everyone not a safety.

Great W!
