2014 NBA Draft Thread - A Tradition Unlike Any Other (1 Viewer)

I think the 76ers draft will be overrated. Any team with that many picks will get some love but didn't get Wiggins. Lot of question marks but I guess at that point, the more picks the better the odds. I like McDaniels but they needed a shooter.

Heat just asked Napier to opt out. Signed him to 20 years at 500K per and a concierge job thru 2050.
You got the job title wrong though Captain.

He will replace DJ Ire…..with a name like Shabazzzzzz, It's a natural position for him.

Come on man I thought you were better than this.

Wow - this guy is huge
Don't know how people hate Simmons: "Could he open both car doors at the same time?"
The occasional good pun aside, he offers nothing except biased commentary, and he doesn't know a lot of the players being drafted. He's a good writer, but he's atrocious on television.

I agree - his initial reaction to most things seems to always be through the lens of a Celtics fan, which I find both annoying and completely uninteresting. I think with print he is afforded more time to think about his reactions and can therefore put out a slightly more balanced thought (although it usually still is a bit biased), which makes it easier to read. I enjoy his podcasts, but his schtick is expected in that format. He'd be fantastic covering the draft for a Boston channel but is terrible on a national network.
