Last night I met some baseball guys including a current scout for the Red Sox and a former minor league guy.  So we got to talking about the Red Sox and how much I hate them, but how much I love their farm system.  So we got to Moncada and I said maybe Pedroia will finally die and put all Rux fans out of their misery.  The one guy said, "hey man that was my minor league roommate, he's a good guy."  oops! 

They also said I should be a scout, they couldn't believe I knew Rafeal Devers 2014 OPS.

Already are to some degree.  All of their in-game sheets/reports are put into a database and then handed over to the scouting department's analytical teams.  With pitch FX and the arriving fielding f/x, a lot of the work is already done.  Still think human eyes will be involved at games, the best games to go to are single A games around the trade deadline.  1000 people at the game, 150 of them scouts.
