So nice watching the Cubs crush the Dodgers and knowing that Fish Taco is ready to slit his/her wrists.

No matter how many trees you can buy, it doesn't mean you know which one you're barking up.

If only there was a comprehensive list somewhere of the teams Taco likes.
The slight of hand has Chet completely drooling.  Like a guy who hasn't followed baseball in years, but now will probably be at a World Series game because he has the means to buy a ticket and a Cubs hat.  Exactly what baseball fans are afraid of, another Red Sox Nation led by the mouth-breathers.

I kind of feel like this about the Cubs. I can't cheer for the Indians after they eliminated the Jays. I don't really like the Dodgers either but Kershaw is amazing and Anthopolous is there, so I guess if I squint really hard they're my interest. Mostly just hoping for close games and good baseball and someone pounding Trevor Bauer.

I'm rooting for the NL team, period.  Cubs, Doyers, Padres.  Whatever.

Can the DH be used for a non-pitcher? IF the Cubs win this series, I'd rather have someone hit for Heyward than for Arrieta. Or really any of the starters.

Baez actually had a better hard contact rate in 2015 than he did in 2016, but a lot of the balls he was hitting was right at guys.  More importantly he was missing a lot, his O-Swing % was up 14% this year meaning he is identifying balls outside the strike zone better than he was a year ago.  It's just a matter of time, I think he's superior to Addison Russell but he can find a home anywhere in the infield.  I think 3B would be ideal, he'd be a gold glover there and I think he could become the standard at the hot corner.  Not gonna walk a lot, ever, but as long as his pitch selection continues to improve he has a chance to be special.

So the cubs have set themselves up perfectly for the inevitable meltdown.

Thinking they have a 1-0 lead in the 7th in game 6 and blow it, then get boat raced in game 7.

God I hope so. Would be amazing to #### the bed like that at home.

Going back to Wrigley up 3-2 with our two aces still to pitch? Can't lose that. #2003

Please have it have bartman coming back to wrigley involved somehow.

Only way to stop this is to literally murder a goat at home plate for the ceremonial first pitch.

#### you jobu.

These baseball series playing all of these back to back games is throwing me off.

if this was the NBA we would all be getting pumped up for game 3 about now.

Who is in charge of updating the thread title?  Must be a moron, we are headed to game 6 of the NLCS, Indians won the AL already, and we still have some lame ### thread title.  You're fired, guy.

I'm not sure I want this to happen.  I'm sympathetic to the Doyers because one of my best buddies is a Doyer fan, but I want the Indians to die (not via small pox).  Cubs seem to have a better chance to beat them, so.....

I love the cubbies in a non-diehard way, but I love internet memes of fans looking like they are literally ready to die even more. And a game  7 loss at wrigley would be the treasure trove.

Pete Rose and A-Rod should be in the HOF, but not on my TV.  Fox does TV so bad, we get Joe Buck, Skip Bayless, and some cheaters.  Oh, and Lou Dobbs.

Gross.
