2017 Streaming Defenses (1 Viewer)

Have HOU vs INDY with PIT on bye but thinking INDY might be the better play at this point.
Watson's injury has changed my outlook for the HOU/INDY game. Originally thought this would be a rout with INDY scoring (but turning the ball over) in a relatively high scorer. Now I see this as much more even game, possibly with Indy upsetting HOU.

HOU D still ranked as a top 5 D this week, but this could be a dangerous spot. Watson was able to hide HOU's warts on D. Savage will not be able to do so.

I'm rolling with AZ D. SF just lost Garcon to IR.

I didn't realize AZ was available in my league. I just added them and starting over Detroit. The last two weeks, the 49ers gave up 14 & 19 points to DAL & PHI, two average to below average defenses. Beathard is still QB, they just lost Garcon and I think Staley is out as well. No brainer #1 play of the week IMO. Can't believe they were out there.

Keep in mind, my defenses have scored a combined 41 points all year so feel free to do the opposite.

Yeah, he really did a great job of hiding them during that Seattle game

Not sure why everybody loves NO this week. Winston was bad but he was hurting and the winds were bad in CAR last week. TB is usually a bad matchup for opposing defenses (21 overall). NO defense did nothing at home vs a bad CHI offense.

I agree with you and was shocked to get arz after waivers ran for nothing

I have to choose between

Philly versus Denver

Jacksonville versus Cincy

Picked up Philly last week and they were great.  Was ready to drop and play Jax but FBG has Philly ranked # 1 this week.
In exact same position. JAX were somehow on my wire.  In the end I decided to drop Philly and go with JAX this week. Philly matchup might be a little better this week  but will just go with JAX for ROS now

Went Bill in three leagues this week :X
Question is what to do with them ROS. Before tonight, they had been remarkably consistent, scoring between 7 and 15 every week. Problem is the next four weeks they have horrible matchups: NO, @LAC, @KC, NE. Then two great matchups (Indy/Miami at home) followed by @NE in Week 16.

I'm going to need to pick up a TE next week for Ertz's bye, and I'm inclined to send Buffalo to the WW with hopes of getting them back before Week 14. My other D is Cinci, which has an OK matchup next week (@Tenn) followed by @DEN and CLE.

Been slow to make a chance and have NO in vs TB and only higher ranked option I see is TEN vs BAL. what would you do?

I would drop them

Giants, Miami, Washington, Dallas,  Tampa only thing available
Yikes. Slim pickins'.

I think I'd roll the dice with WASH. Game is in Seattle and it will be cold and maybe drizzly. Not great conditions. Plus, SEA can't run the damn ball so maybe the offense settles for FGs. Maybe Norman picks one.

It's why I asked earlier in the thread about trading for Jacksonville. That's all that's left on the wire. I have New England on the bench so there's still that but KC doesn't have a great schedule the rest of the way either.  Jacksonville has a killer schedule.

I’m debating between Detroit, TN, Baltimore and Cincy.

My mind says Cincy for some reason, but yahoo has them ranked incredibly low points projection wise as compared to the rest.

Hundly makes me hungry for turnovers and may pick up Detroit. Their upcoming schedule and playoff schedule is also quite nice.

Baltimore has been a rollercoaster ride all season, but would love to be on one of those peaks.

TN has maxed out at 12 points this season and many of their fantasy defensive efforts are low scoring so i don’t feel the love there.

Cinci has had their ups and downs as well. They seem to fair well against bad teams and poorly against good teams.

still debating ravens or detroit for this week too.  leaning detroit and betting that hundley is still just a turnover prone backup qb.

Bears

Jets

Pats

Sure are a lot of bad QBs starting in the NFL right now
Debating these two. I think Chicago has a safe 5-7 pt floor but I do think the Pats get up early and create an unlimited ceiling with whoever Denver throws out there at QB. Tough call and may depend on how I feel about my opponent's chances.

Stick with NO @ BUF or try for CHI vs GB? Had no idea NO has been one of the top ranked D since week 2. Was ready to drop them but thinking twice now.

I have Detroit defense but both of these are available and I might add both just to block my opponent

I am not sure why, but I am really focused on grabbing the Bills D from the wire to pair with the Lions who I already have.

BUF seem to provide a solid floor for the most part, and I love their playoff schedule playing IND and MIA at home in weeks 14 and 15.

The way I can feasibly carry them both is by dropping my backup QB, Dalton (who backs up Mariota) -- it's a risky move as the wire is fairly thin on QBs (Brissett, McCown, Cutler and Flacco is the level of QBs left) and there have been some notable injuries leaving others scrambling so Dalton, while not effective at all this season, has some more upside than others.

Am I crazy for taking this risk for securing the Bills?

I think I am going to try to pick up both CHI and CIN defenses this week.  Their combined schedule looks pretty good.

W10 - GB @ CHI
W11 - CIN @ DEN
W12 - CLE @ CIN
W13 - SF @ CHI
W14 - CHI @ CIN
W15 - CHI @ DET
W16 - CLE @ CHI

I have the Bills and Lions too so I like the pairing - and I'd drop Daulton even though the wire is thin.  This time of year I try to make my starting lineup as strong as possible even at the expense of depth.

First of all, independent of streaming defense or anything else, I would drop Dalton for McCown right now. But you definitely don't need to hold on to Red Rifle.

Yeah, if you can stash Buffalo for Weeks 14-15, do it.

I am trying to decide whether to stick with NO or go with the Lions vs Browns this week.  Leaning Lions...
