Well that took forever it seems. Now that all the picks are in, here we go again.

The purpose of these polls is to get an idea of who the majority of voters prefer at a specific pick in a rookie draft. These drafts assume that all 2019 rookie players are available. For the 2QB poll there may be some variance in scoring. Some may be standard, others PPR. I think a lot of 2QB leagues may involve IDP as well so these differences are not accounted for here. Only looking at the offensive skill players in the two most common formats and also 2QB leagues, to get a sense of where the QB are valued relative to other positions, when there is actually scarcity at the QB position. For the TE premium poll this assumes the scoring format is PPR because that is what these leagues almost always are. The polls assume 12 teams and likely 24-26 roster spots as the most common format for dynasty. Short bench dynasty leagues should only care about the top 6-12 rookie players.

If a player isn't listed that you would vote for please vote other and then post the name of the player that you voted for so that player can be added to the next poll. Also please suggest players not listed that you would vote for soon, even if not on the particular poll that is active.

I don't have any lists to follow for populating the poll, so I will just add players based off their draft position for now. As always I appreciate suggestions of players you think should be listed in a poll.

Thanks everyone for voting. Discussion welcome.

We are still a few picks from where I'd start to strongly think about him, but Andy Isabella is probably the next name to add. His speed with Murray's arm and athleticism makes him at least a late 1st to me.

I voted Metcalf in every category other than 2 QB(Haskins) I really think he's going to about as perfect a situation as there is, and has the highest ceiling of anyone in this year's draft.

Yeah Isabella would be listed except that people asked for Metcalf and Montgomerry.

There are only 13 slots available to list players, so always hard to get everyone in on the early polls.

what are people using to determine TE Premium?  a full PPR more than RB/WR, or something like a .5/1/1.5 split?

As stated in the OP the TE premium poll assumes PPR scoring, so that poll should closely mirror the PPR poll, with exception of some of the TE being more valuable.

I think the most common form of TE premium scoring is 1.5 points per reception for TE compared to 1 point per reception for other players. The FFPC is a popular format that people play that has TE premium scoring for example (although this is shorter rosters than most dynasty leagues).

It is something people asked me to add to the polls a few years ago so I did. It seems to get a lot of do not play votes. I get a lot more ties in that poll than I do the other ones.

the fact 13 slots aren't enough says all you need to know about this draft class

Are you purposely changing Mecole Hardman’s name to Maurice? Just curious.
Nope not purposeful at all. I know nothing about this guy except the Chiefs took him high.

I just copied it from a draft list that listed him that way.

Its fun I think that there is very little consensus about players this year. That hasn't happened in awhile.

I am still undecided if this group of skill players is better than average or weaker than average. i am not sure. I thought WR would have been drafted higher than they were.

I have a question for you all.

When should I start listing Drew Sample TE from the Bengals? Or should I?

I guess even Sample and his agent didn't expect him to be drafted that high.

Not known for his receiving ability.

I voted Montgomery because of his vast potential under Bears HC Nagy's offensive scheme.  Recall his final year with Chiefs being their OC, they had a great rushing offense with rookie RB Kareem Hunt, which is similarly compared to Montgomery.

He's a blocker, I'd imagine most people start figuring that out soon so I wouldn't add him to the list.  Kahale Warring however might be worth late 1st consideration

I would drop Drew Sample from the list as there are quite a few other rookie tight ends that the fantasy community will draft ahead of him.

I’d also recommend grouping the positions together.

Keep up the great work. Many thanks for running these polls.

This is where it gets hard.  Probably still going Metcalf here.  The combination of physical talent and a good, stable situation more than offsets the fall in the draft.

Question: is the tight end premium assumed to be PPR?
