Can someone explain exactly what's going on here? If Players skip these, what exactly are they missing, and who does it effect most/least? What portion of these is voluntary, and what portion is mandatory? Does it concern you? What are the consequences in terms of the flow of information and research we all typically engage in during the spring/summer?
I've spend a few hours surfing, but would like to hear opinions from the collective here.
It seems like the NFLPA leadership are sulking because the NFL implemented the 17-week schedule, and because the NFLPA is run so poorly (their fault, IMHO), they got the #### end of the stick. I'm not inclined to have much pity when stuff like this goes down. They should have had better people in place to handle dealings with the NFL DeMaurice Smith is in way over his head, IMHO. Now, you take your medicine, elect new leaders, and do better next time...but in the meantime, you gambled and lost, backed the wrong horse... now take your damn medicine, and quit trying to avoid the consequences by trying to be slick and clever. Go do your job. Sorry if that offends anyone, that's just the way I'm wired.

I know every Team had Rookie Minicamp already (were those mandatory, did all Teams attend?)
It appears we're already through Phase 1 (April 19 - May 14). What went on during that Phase that was abnormal? Or did it go as planned?
It appears we're in the middle of Phase 2 (May 17-21). What's going on right now? Are Players blowing this off?
Phase 3 upcoming, including Mandatory Minicamp (May 24 - June 18) What going to happen, in terms of Player involvement, during this phase?
Just surprised there's no discussion about what's going on here, unless no one really thinks it's impactful, or I missed a Thread where it's already being discussed, in which case I apologize.
Would love to hear how some folks think this is going to effect their research/analysis, etc. and what the expected effect is on Players and the upcoming 2021 Season.
