2023 Contracts Expiring, Likely Cuts (1 Viewer)

Can we crowd source players likely to move teams and players who could benefit?

I just did a quick check at Spotrac and found these guys who are UFAs this offseason, with some arbitrary cutoff of who's worth listing (call it rostered in most 12-team, start 3 DL/LB/DB leagues):

LB: Roquan, Holcomb, Edmunds, David, Long, Tranquill, Edwards, Morrow, LVE, Singleton, Anzalone, Okereke, Perryman, Evans, Walker, Jayon Brown, Elliss, Kyzir White, Bush, Takitaki, Deion Jones
DE: Clowney, Okoronkwo, Ngakoue, Graham, Quinn
S: Poyer, Bell, Bates, Love, Donovan Wilson, Rapp, Edwards, K.Jackson, DeShon Elliott, Owens, McLeod, Scott

I am not a cap guy and don't really know how to read Spotrac to know who's an almost-certain cut, who's a likely cut, who's a possible cut, etc.

Some guys who stick out as in-place replacements:
Nakobe Dean PHI LB
Nick Cross IND S
Troy Anderson and Mykal Walker ATL LB - looks like Anderson has passed Walker, but maybe both play most downs next season
Terrel Bernard BUF LB
Malcolm Rodriguez DET LB
Jack Sanborn CHI LB
Zaire Franklin IND LB (I know he was already awesome, but I started the year thinking he was a temporary guy, looks like a good situation next season also)
Damone Clark DAL LB
Divine Deablo LVR LB (already there, but decks are cleared)
JOK CLE LB (not sure why it didn't happen this year, but fewer obstacles)
Dayo Odeyingbo IND DE (also Tyquan Lewis is a UFA)
Dax Hill CIN S (split of deep/box is big question)
Kerby Joseph DET S (same question)
Jordan Fuller LAR S (same question - maybe Burgess moves up too?)
Damar Hamlin BUF S (does he take Poyer's spot next season?)

I think the multi year summary on spotrac does a great job painting the big picture, but over the cap is a better tool for details - identifying contract terms by specific players and teams that have contract dollars tied up in base that can easily be converted to bonuses.

But there is some nice LBs in the free agent group that could end up elsewhere where these replacements are. Add in what looks like nice LB crew coming in. Simpson, Sewell, Sanders, Campbell, Tootoo, Henley, Overshow could make impacts

interesting that all are owned in my dynasty IDP league. I own 4.

I generated a similar list by team of people I’m targeting or watching thru the off-season based on UFA/RFA and opportunity. There is a fair amount of overlap and some of the teams were hard to come up with an option which likely means they will be an acquirer of talent in FA and/or draft, but you never know. Feel free to poke holes in the names, add/subtract names etc. some have already established themselves but i see upside and same are dart throws, but i hope this keeps the conversation going. The “Off-season Dynasty stash” threads on this forum have historically been the best content there is.
