2025 College Football Thread: Florida State fan not really unhappy that YouTube tv took games away (13 Viewers)

ND now called for a defensive line shift causing the offense to delay of game. Seriously. The DL moved like many do and got called for delay of game on the defense because the offense couldn’t adjust.

That was the weirdest call I might have seen in a long time. ACC refs.

I had been on the other side of watching so many of the beatdowns that IU is laying on Maryland. Maryland gave up like an hour ago. Just getting completely dominated.

Happy for the win, but that was ugly and lots of work to do.

ACC refs are absolutely atrocious. If they cannot fix them, it’s beyond time to end that deal.

Hot Take: Michigan looks/feels most like Michigan with Marshall in the backfield.

Also, didnt know how many freshmen or RS freshmen were playing on the offensive side of the ball. Just learned that after going out to see what the loss of Barnham meant depth wise.

My 81 year old dad got to watch his beloved Longhorns win one more game before morphine took over and he drifted off to eternal sleep. I think he drifted off when they were up big and he missed the Vandy comeback so maybe the college football gods were looking out for him.

RIP to a good man who went out watching his favorite team win.

So sorry for your loss GM.

Prayers for you and the rest of the family bud. I am glad he got to enjoy that last game.

Judging how you are a stand up guy, my guess is your Dad was an awesome guy that the world will miss.

No offense but you can't make it through one game without whining about refs, the head coach, and/or the OC.
Offense taken. Only kidding…seriously.

I’m passionate, but I’ll tone it down. Sorry all.
No, I like you being you. I'm just busting your balls and don't take the ref complaints seriously. If you want to complain about GT's defense, go right ahead!

Clock managment and play calling was atrocious for OU!

1st and 10 4:18 left pass play(!) tipped could have been 3 runs shaving the clock to the ~2 minute warning and another 50+ yard FG attempt, 29-17. Instead, dumb INT getting cute with the play calling! TD the other way, and it’s 26-24 now are you kidding me Brent Venables and Ben Arbuckle?

X Robinson actually bailed out the OU coaches going down at the 1 inch line, only for coaches to blow it and not run clock plays with Vols only having 1 TO left. They happily let Mateer walk in, just like they did XR! So foolish!

Neither one of those onside kick recoveries were easy!! My goodness the first one was like an OBJ catch.

We made this a lot harder than it needed to be, but in the end a W! Will absolutely take it after the start giving up ALL those chunk plays early! Aguilar was dropping DIMES!

BOOMER!

This first week of playoff seeding is going to be very interesting, especially given what happened at the bottom of the top 10 this week. There's going to be a lot of debate amongst 2 loss teams this year.

NIL parity is really showing itself as well in that there seems to really only be one blue blood standing tall (tOSU) and a lot of potential or upstarts otherwise around them. What is interesting with the multiple playoff rounds is how teams eventually adjust to natural momentum that is such a part of why we all follow this sport. Who can start to take off this month and round into shape at the perfect time of the year to make a run?

I don't follow this at all. What is "taking this month off" ?

How do you pile together 14 teams in conferences where 8 teams try very hard to win and expect annual success? It's difficult to imagine a world where ever increasing NIL and buyouts don't consume this thing in its entirety.

Wouldn Dabo really leave for Auburn? I cannot believe this rumor.

Why would anybody voluntarily go to Auburn? They have zero patience and hate every coach they hire. They gave Hugh Freeze like a month? Half a year? Ridiculous. On a treadmill running nowhere forever.

I heard Dabo's name with both LSU and Florida but I just assumed it was overreaction to their bad season. He comes off as fed up with Clemson fans whining about a losing season and if he can't handle that, he should probably stay away from the SEC.
