I touched on this in a follow-up to one of my other posts, but figure a clean slate would be best.

12-team, standard scoring, 3 player-keeper league. We start: QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, Flex (RB/WR/TE), K, DST

Keeper rules:

Only players drafted after the 5th round can be kept.

  • Players can be kept for a Max of 3yrs:
  • Yr 1 = 1 round prior to draft round (ex. Drafted in round 7 = round 6 keeper)
  • Yr 2 = ½ the previous round (ex. In above scenario, you’d lose your 3rd round pick)
  • Yr 3 = round 1
my 1st 2 keepers are set (David Johnson - 6th round & Jordy Nelson - 7th).

I have the 2nd pick in my draft and will likely draft AB & need some help on my 3rd keeper:

  • Isaiah Crowell in the 8th
  • Jordan Howard in the 10th

FWIW, it seems everyone has Howard ranked higher, but it also seems that Crow has the track record, better O-line, and (gulp) better offense.

Crowell does not have the track record, he's never done anything close to what Howard did last year. I like Howard more than Crowell, by a decent amount, the fact that his cost is 2 rounds later, makes this a big win for Howard.

Howard by a mile.  You probably won't get many replies to this, since it's a no-brainer (no offense).
