Have a keeper draft this weekend....looks like Mendenhall will fall to me...but is Kevin Smith worth a look here...or even Chris Johnson??

I think I am going to take Mendenhall...but Smith has the job clear-cut in Detroit and looked decent the other night...all though he looks pretty tall and lean.

Chris Johnson looks like an all-round weapon, just not sure what role he'll have long-term.

Long term I like Mendenhall...but you always second guess yourself.

The landscape in the NFL can change quickly and in keeper/dynasty leagues I'd take talent over situation almost every time.

Was in a 14 team, 4 man keeper draft today. 26 RB's already off the board. The guy picking first took K. Smith. He had only one RB which he kept and wanted production now. I thought it was a bad move, but what can you do, that's why he will probably pick first again next year.

I remember a couple of years ago in my 3 player keeper league, a guy picked Wali Lundy at 1.03 leaving guys like Addai on the board because Addai was going to share time with Rhodes.
