I run a dynasty league on MFL.com, I recently had an owner quit because he doesn't like the appearance and out look of MFL.
The league is made to imitate the NFL, we have 40 man rosters, a 7 man practice squad, we start 19 total players a week including 11 IDPs, its not your normal IDP scoring, players receive bonuses for tackles, sacks and picks.
In the off season we have restricted and unrestricted free agency and a rookie draft, owners get to franchise players, players also hold out.
The league uses league money for free agency in season and off season.
Since this an Internet league, we can't get together to have a winter meeting, so as soon as the leagues season is over we move into the rules portion of the league, owners are required to participate in the rules portion.
Note: This takes about 3-4 weeks to get through.
