5 Openings in Auction Keeper League (1 Viewer)

I had 5 owners leave from the first-year of my 12-team ESPN PPR Keeper league. It centered around a controversial trade, which left some owners not wanting to return. We've switched from Commissioner veto only to League Vote (6 votes required) so that owners can have a vote on what trades go through.

Our keeper price is the auction price plus a tax depending on how many years you want to keep a player. These owners are vacating teams that will have pretty sizable advantages going into next year. If you are keeping for just one year, you add $5 to the auction price, $10 for two years, and $15 for three years. You can keep up to 3 players per year, and you are not obligated to keep a player for the life of your "keeper contract."

The yearly fee is $50, all payments handled through leaguesafe . We have some additional fees (deposit for next year, last place penalty), which I can explain further, but I do not collect any % as commissioner, and 100% of the prize pool is paid out.

Because the new owners will be coming in at an advantage, and to offset the teams I will have to sell at a discount, I'm charging a premium for the better teams. I have not fully determined it yet, but it will not exceed double the league fee ($100 for only the first year, $50 per year after that). All premiums will go into the prize pool for next year.

To give you an idea of how much of a discount it is, here is what the top 3 players went for in our initial auction:

QB - Rodgers ($61), Brady ($51), Brees ($46)

RB - Foster - ($67), Rice ($67), McCoy ($60)

WR - C. Johnson - ($57), Welker ($37), R. White ($37)

TE - Graham ($47), Gronkowski($36), Gates ($18)

Here are some of the keepers that will be available from the vacant teams, and their price in this year's auction:

Team A - RGIII ($9), A. Morris ($5), A. Hernandez ($13)

Team B - A. Peterson ($31), BJGE ($14), Moreno ($5)

Team C - T. Richardson ($38), D. Bryant ($20), R. Cobb ($3)

If you are interested, I can send you more information, including full league rosters (with auction prices, so you can see potential keepers), league constitution, and full league details. This is really a good opportunity to come in with a good head start.

Post any questions below or email me at lilmank@hotmail.com. I will be collecting names, and then will start selling the teams on a first come, first serve basis starting in a week or two.
