50 Best Damn Touchdowns (1 Viewer)

I caught this on Fox Sports the other night; some amazing plays on there, and some not-so amazing plays that are highly overrated simply because of the player(s) involved. Either way, it was a cool watch. But there was one glaring omission:

-Bruce from Warner in Super Bowl XXXIV

Seriously, how is that touchdown not one of the best touchdowns of all-time? A 73-yard bomb to win the Super Bowl in the last two minutes of the game is pretty damn good, especially when you consider that Warner was fortunate to get the ball off because of being hit, and then Bruce had to come back and adjust to the under thrown ball, made the catch, and then weaved his way through the defense for the winning score. If that isn't one of the best touchdowns ever, then something is very wrong.

And I am not even a Rams fan.

Semantics. Either way, its exclusion from that list was pathetic.

ESPN2 had the Rams/Titans SB featured last night as one of those hour or hour and a half shows where they break the game down amongst the highlights from it, with recent comments from the coaches and some players, and it still astonishes me how the Warner to Bruce is overlooked when talking about all-time best Super Bowl plays. Interestingly, I never knew that the Rams strategy in that game on go patterns like that was to intentionally throw the ball a tad short, because of how the Titans' corners played, giving the Rams WRs the chance to pull up short and the last second and catch the ball, which is exactly what Bruce did on that winning play. Awesome stuff.

Deeply flawed, given that The Play isn't #1. How many TDs include stuffing the ball in the face of a trombone player from the opposing team? I mean, come on, the Music City Miracle? I also agree that The Catch is extremely overrated.
