5x5 Mixed League Auction Discussion (1 Viewer)

If anybody has any questions, needs advice, or just wants to talk strategy this is the spot. My favorite 5x5 mixed auction $$ league has 15 teams and ten keepers per team. We also use 3 minors guys per team that you can activate during the year if needed, or hold them in minors all year and get them for a buck (and free roster spot) the next year. We have to have our keepers in very early this year because of expansion. Activated guys don't count towards ten keepers. We have no reserves. Our lineup consists of 2 Catchers, 1B-3B-CI-2B-SS-MI-5 OF-U-10P 3minors (Have to bid on them in reg auction, I need 3 new ones as I am activating all 3 for a buck each). Here is my team.

At the expense of who. I am only keeping three pitchers(Peavy-Cain-Harang). I will edit in my pitchers as soon as my two year old allows, lol.

It is 8. I wasn't thinking about that. I was just trying to divide up them up by tiers (2 for $50, 4 for $20 etc)

Sorry my son hurt his foot so I am in and out but if I were you, I would try and target the best young hitters I could get my hands on and pretty much punt pitching(saves for sure). Maybe I would try and get a nice young upside arm from the Giants, Dodgers, Pads, or even(gulp) the yanks but I would go all out on very young hitters. You will probably not win this year but you will be set for the future. I will give some examples when I get a chance.
