6-0, do I trade for AB or don't fix what ain't broke? (1 Viewer)

Good morning,

So I'm currently 6-0 in a 12 team, PPR league.  Team is strong, but the AB owner is 1-5 and willing to move him. I was wondering if I should go and lock him up for the playoff run?

My team:

QB: Brees
RB: David Johnson, CJ Anderson, DeAngelo Williams, Zenner, Rainey, Don Jackson
WR: Fitzgerald, Baldwin, Pryor, Meredith, Steve Smith
TE: Reed, Bennett
K: Santos
DEF: Broncos

It might take something like Bennett, Pryor, and CJ and I know he's willing to move Howard as well. Would these three be a good deal for AB and Howard?

TIA

I wouldn't do it as a 3 for 1, as you would have nothing at RB behind DJ.  If he'll give you Howard back then I would absolutely do this deal, and do it quickly before he changes his mind. Huge huge upgrade at WR, small downgrade at RB, and you should be able to pick up a James/Brate/Tamme/Walford type TE to cover Reed injuries

Seems like a solid deal but you would need a RB back for sure.  I would also see if he would take Reed instead of Bennett (doubtful but you never know).  I am real worried that Reed may not play much the rest of the year.

I agree 100% if Howard is included.  Run, don't walk, to the trade table...great deal to solidify your team, even if Roth is out a period of time.
