1st tiebreaker is strength of schedule2nd tiebreaker is division tiebreaker if applicable3rd is coin toss I believe.-QG8 teams tied at 6-10. 6 teams with worse records. That is going to take some crazy tiebreakers. Anyone know them? Paging Quiz Guy.........Has there ever been that many teams tied for a draft spot? Paging Chase........
I assume the easier the schedule the better draft pick then, right?1st tiebreaker is strength of schedule2nd tiebreaker is division tiebreaker if applicable3rd is coin toss I believe.-QG8 teams tied at 6-10. 6 teams with worse records. One win/loss is the difference between division champion hosting a playoff game and picking in the top 10. Hate Dallass picking right ahead of the Skins. Here you go, by my back of the envelope tallies. It all actually works out surprisingly simply:
If Seattle wins (strength of schedule wins in parentheses):
#7 - San Francisco (124)
#8 - Tennessee (130)
#9 - Dallas (131)
#10 - Washington (132)
#11 - Houston (134)
#12 - Minnesota (143)
#13 - Detroit (144)
If St Louis wins:
#7 - San Francisco (124)
#8 - Seattle (125)![]()
#9 - Tennessee (130)
#10 - Dallas (131)
#11 - Washington (133)
#12 - Houston (134)
#13 - Minnesota (143)
#14 - Detroit (145)
So there you go![]()

Not for draft picks:http://www.nfl.com/standings/tiebreakingproceduresDon't divisional tiebreakers still apply before SOS is considered?
So if Seattle loses, they finish third in the division (SF has better division record), so I think they would draft before SF.

So if Seattle finishes lower than SF in the final standings, then Seattle drafts before SF.TIE-BREAKING PROCEDURE FOR SELECTION MEETING
1. Clubs not participating in the playoffs shall select in the first through 20th positions in reverse standings order.
no kidding, imagine stafford playing the whole year...Ilov80s said:Interesting, Lions have gone from the 2nd pick to 13/14 in a few weeks, Nearly went 8-8 as well. Just a few pieces away from playoff contention. I actually think it is a good spot for Detroit.

Is that for certain? I'm a Bills fan and just curious if they got the #3 or #4 pick. Was really hoping Tebow was gonna pull out another win this week and the Bills could have possibly gotten the #2 (and maybe a shot at Luck if the Panthers owner or GM still likes Clausen and Luck does come out).Oh yeah?!? Actually, Dallas does get the 3rd place schedule by virtue of better division record.Ariakis said:Cowboys would have picked 6 had they not posted a meaningless comeback but thankfully don't drop out of the top 10 ... or pass the Skins in the standings which means Dallas gets a last place schedule next year too.
Does Denver own their pick next year?Retweeted by Adam Schefter:

Bengals are #4 as our strength of schedule was tougher. Actually I think our strength of schedule was toughest in the league probably, though Buffalo was close.-QGIs that for certain? Yeah, Dallas finishes 3rd but somehow picks ahead of the 4th place Redskins. I could've sworn that the NFL changed that rule a few years ago...I remember there was an issue with KC and Oakland having the same record one year, but the division tiebreakers affected the draft order somehow.Actually, Dallas does get the 3rd place schedule by virtue of better division record.Ariakis said:Cowboys would have picked 6 had they not posted a meaningless comeback but thankfully don't drop out of the top 10 ... or pass the Skins in the standings which means Dallas gets a last place schedule next year too.
Strength of Schedule is first tie-breaker for draft picks.Division and conference tie-breakers are next.-QGYeah, Dallas finishes 3rd but somehow picks ahead of the 4th place Redskins.
