A. Smith over Ware or Prosise in PPR? (1 Viewer)

Need to pick a RB and am worried about waiting to see if Ware plays.

Projections says I should start Smith tonight over Prosise or Ware.  Thoughts?

I'm in same boat.  I'd go with A Smith, as I don't think Ware is going to play since KC is normally very conservative with injuires and should be able to beat Jax without Alex Smith or Ware.  They need both healthy for the stretch run.  The other option would be to get Hightower if available, as he's likely to get 50% of workload and allows you to wait longer for  Ware decision.  Practice report today and Fri will bs key for Ware.

Ware did not practice again on Thursday so he looks like a no-go.  Bucs reporter says Smith will get lead RB carries so I think I would go with him even if Hightower was available.

I'm not high on Smith at all. The guy has never even had 10 carries in a game. I'd be surprised if he saw more than 15 touches this week. More likely, Tampa just won't have an effective RB this week. I'd go Hightower over him without a second thought.

That said, Ware hasn't been ruled out, so I'd keep that option on the table. he's the obvious choice if he's active, and if not, than Hightower or Prosise are likely as good or better than Smith.

I was burned too my friend. I've had a few of those mistakes his year. Sometimes you have to take a step back, drown at the noise and look at the all the facts in front of you. I keep reading how I should start Colin Kaepernick over Eli this week, but question is can I really trust a guy like that? Had I asked this of myself re: Smith I could have used the pickup on a high upside RB like Paul Perkins this week and just taken my chances with a scrub like Yeldon, who I already had on my bench.
