Even on one of these simple reports, New England can't resist thumbing their nose. If you don't think it is, that's fine. It just made me wonder how many times they've filled it in with 8 instead of 7.Even on one of these simple reports, New England can't resist thumbing their nose. how is that thumbing their noses?
Oh, OK.Pretty sure that is due to the 3rd QB, who you don't have to declare with the new rules that changed a year or two ago.
I have to decide between him and Olsen. If Hernandez is healthy its an easy choice. Hard to gamble and take a 0 if he is not healthy. Thats where the debate is and why we are looking for info. You start him unless you have Jimmy Graham, Gresham, or Witten. Who are you going to start over him? You're lucky to get 5 for 60 from most TE's so not sure what the big debate it. Aherns upside way higher than most TE's.

I think the only reason Gronk has great numbers is because of the absence of Hernandez. Had Hernandez been available all of those games they both would have very similar stats. It's a downgrade in the sense that it's his first game back, but give him another week to get into the full swing of things and he'll be performing at the same level.BTW, I'm rolling with Hernandez tonight myself.Deciding to start Hernandez or Gresham. I think I'm just gonna play it safe and go with Gresham. I'm easily convinced that Hernandez will not have a full time role tonight. Either way, this is a downgrade from Gronk. :(
Look for rest in second half of this debacle.
Seems like the smart thing to do, especially after the whole Gronk situation last week. They gotta sit him up 35.... Right?
What?! You got inside info on Spiller's usage this week?Flexed him instead of playing Spiller *crossing fingers*That first catch looked pretty good though.-QG

Spiller rushed for over 100 yards last week. What kind of crazy scoring only gives RB's 3 points for 100 yards rushing?Spiller got 3 points. Hernandez got 1.Worst decision ever.Flexed him instead of playing Spiller *crossing fingers*That first catch looked pretty good though.-QG-QG
I saw yesterday he was limited in practice but the explanation under it said its probably Belichick just beying coy and he will likely have that designation the rest of the year and that there hasn't been any news come out of the game suggesting he had any setbacks. I think most people are expecting a normal workload this week. Last week was probably a downer for people putting him back into their lineups but that game got sideways so fast, it doesn't surprise me that he ended up with the stat line he did and, like someone above said, he could have made it a normal day at the office had he not been flagged for the PI. So, looks like he was a good part of the game plan, he seemed to run well, cut well. I think he's back just in time for when some people can use him the most. Cross your fingers and hope to get his regular "last year" production and if you do, you've got a top 3-5 TE down the stretch. What's the story this week?
Very basic scoring:All touchdowns are 6 points. For RBs:1 point for 50 yards rushing, 1 point for each additional 25 yards rushing.1 point for 50 yards receiving, 1 point for each additional 25 yards receiving. For WRs:1 point for 50 yards rushing, 1 point for each additional 25 yards rushing.1 point for 50 yards receiving, 1 point for each additional 25 yards receiving.1 point for each catch, starting with the 6th catch. For TEs:1 point for 50 yards rushing, 1 point for each additional 25 yards rushing.1 point for 25 yards receiving, 1 point for each additional 25 yards receiving.1 point for each catch, starting with the 6th catch. So:Hernandez's 2 catches for 36 yards = 1 pointSpiller's 107 yards rushing = 3 points'steveski said:Spiller rushed for over 100 yards last week.
