Add/Drop Limit (1 Viewer)

Whats your take on an add/drop limit? One of the re-draft leagues I'm in has 20 add/drop limit. It's a 15 round draft- QB, 3WR, 2RB, TE, Flex(rb/wr/te), K, D. So basically that leaves 5 bench spots. I'm not a big fan of the rule, especially with only 5 bench spots. Between injuries and byes, 20 moves seems to be cutting it close. We already have a solid waiver system, so just don't' see the need for a limit. What do you guys think?

I'd be very unlikely to play in a league with any limit. What's the point? Creating parity for those who make almost no transactions? Some people get angry at owners who make many transactions. Why? They have to drop a player for every one they add.

i dont like that. lazy owners won't make that many moves, even with a small bench. the only thing that does is limit the owners that do their research.

I don't really agree with it but I think these settings are sometimes considered by leagues that are looking for ways to stimulate more trading. In my experience it rarely leads to that outcome though.

we don't have a limit perse, but we do have a $50 dollar maximum for the year on blind bid/first come waivers with blind bid starting at $2 and FCFS costing $1.so once that is gone you are done.

I think somebody is getting their butt whipped on waiver/FA claims and wants to kill their opponents ablility out manage him/her. I play in one league with a limit (it's much higher). Twenty five is less than one move per week. You might as well increase your bench size instead and have NO waivers all year instead (in effect almost making it a draft only league). Somebody has an agenda. Why would the leauge vote for this?
