I'm the Commish for a 10 team 1/2 ppr, we always did the standard espn lineup, I want to introduce more trades and excitement, looking at 1QB,1OB, 2RB, 3WR and a flex with no def and kicker with 7 bench slots, you think that will work

Not sure how that would add excitement - plus it’s such a short bench it would actually discourage trading as there will always be FA talent available to pick up.

Add challenge by reducing luck as much as you can. Use a Victory point system instead of standard H2H, slot the last playoff teams by points scored instead of record, things like that.

Make it an IDP league and make it significant. Equal IDP starting slots to offense starting spots. A scoring system that makes IDP equal to offense importance so it matters.

It's typically known as SF (superflex = QB, RB, WR, or TE). FL would mean flex (RB, WR, or TE)

If you want it to superflex don't make the scoring dictate that the OP must be a QB to be competitive. That limits the flexibility and diminishes options. If you want two QB just make it 2 QB otherwise make the scoring in a way that the SF could be any position and you will be competitive.

Agree, but hey if they want it to be more competitive/challenging, things like “start 2 QB” & “start 2 TE” definitely add to the challenge in a 10-teamer.

Agree, but hey if they want it to be more competitive/challenging, things like “start 2 QB” & “start 2 TE” definitely add to the challenge in a 10-teamer.

Exactly. Make it 2 QB instead of SF with scoring dictating you start a QB in the SF.

I actually like the challenge in SF with balanced scoring. It allows owners flexibility in their team builds which adds competitiveness.

No. Give max flexibility so owners can build how they want
