Adrian Peterson (1 Viewer)

What do folks think about picking up Adrian Peterson off waivers? Would have to drop a mid-range bench WR (Jarvis Landry, AJ Green, Darnell Mooney, or Kadarius Toney). He's clearly past his prime, but with Titan OL and system, he could end up in a lot of red zone scoring situations. Would you do this? If so, which WR would you drop?

I'm in 15 leagues (dynasty though) and as bad as I need RB's in some of them, I didn't bother bidding.  He may give you a few 15 point games but he'll also give you more 5 point games.

I am desperate at RB and put in a claim but didn't get him.  I think he will be a serviceable RB2/3/Flex start

Seems like this is a pretty hot topic w/ 2 camps, saying 'Yay' or 'Nay'. If you value FBG staff, Bloom and Waldman are very Bullish on AD performing at RB2 to lowend RB2 ROS. I think if you do get ADP you need to see him for 2 weeks before feeling he is worth rostering or not for ROS.

Waiver wire in general is a crapshoot, out of the names mentioned I would part ways w/ A.J. green who has been declared Out. I think it is wise to take a chance on RBs that have this type of opportunity in general and WRs like you mention are pretty plentiful. So smart move is to pick up AD.
