Hey guys. I could use some help here with a dynasty league Im in. I currently have the following linebackers in a 12 team league:

Antonio Pierce

Nick Barnett

Lemar Marshall

Barrett Ruud

Channing Crowder

My DBs are as follows:

Adrian Wilson

Bob Sanders

DeAngelo Hall

Gary Baxter

On our waiver wire this week, I was thinking of trying to add Gerald Hayes. I didnt know if it would be worth it though seeing how I already have 5 pretty good backers. My options would be to drop Ruud, Crowder, or gary Baxter. The problem though is that both Ruud and Crowder have a ton of potential. Baxter is also a relatively good DB coming off an injury year, but should rebound nicely. ANy thoughts appreciated.

You do have good backers. Adding Hayes would only deepen you roster. That is always good. I would drop Baxter for him.

If you don't have to start 4 DB's, I'd drop Baxter.

I had him in days in Baltimore and he was very useful, but I think he's lost a step or more, and he's no longer got a stud opposite him people try to avoid. He's a solid producer but Hayes could be better.

Yes, but he wants to keep Ruud in dynasty. Baxter's the easy cut amongst those guys - he's fungible.

I'm assuming this is a dynasty league and I agree with the other posters. You can never have enough solid backers in standard leagues and you don't cut two potential studs like Ruud and Crowder unless your hands are tied. Baxter is easily replacement level for reasons already discussed so that's not the case. Down the stretch after bye week vacations end, if you need a better DB, you can flip a backer and Hall for an upgrade there.
