After week 3 who is getting benched? (1 Viewer)

So, 3 weeks does not make a season but who are you moving to the bench after today? For me DWill is going straight to the pine with the exception of bye-week fill-in and/or injuries. I thought he was an awesome pick at 3.01.

:)

Definitely D'Angelo, until he shows something. It's a shame too because I don't think his lack of success comes from a lack of talent.

So, the concensus #1 RB so far in the thread is DeAngelo Williams and the #1 WR so far is Calvin Johnson.

Wouldn't you know it, I own both of them. :lmao:

10 carries for 64 yards. I think the part that's hurting him is the part he really has little control over...his touches. And what's this Goodson BS? Your best offensive weapon gets 10 touches (all carries) but your 3rd best RB gets 8 targets? Comeon, Fox!I'd put him on the bench but my RB2 was Grant and Addai is just as inconsistent. It's going to be a long year.

Crabtree will be benched for anyone

Farve will not touch my lineup again this season besides bye after not getting it done against the lions

MJD gets the Colts next week. I think he breaks out of his mini-funk. He looked decent vs. the Eagles. Not great. Not terrible. The line isn't very good. Garrard sucks.

The problem is, that team is going to be way behind a lot and they seem to not be interested in throwing the ball his way any more.

For me, I'm not sure what I'm going to do with Mike Sims-Walker. I like him and I have a hard time giving up on him. I could have traded him this week to clear a roster spot, but held on to him. I don't know. I've heard the comparisons to Brandon Marshall, but he really needs to step it up at some point.

I benched MJD this week. Unfortunately, Best had a dud of a day and was knocked out of the game. Thankfully, I still have Pierre Thomas and Ahmad Bradshaw.Someone dropped Sims-Walker last week, so I claimed him off of waivers. However, after I traded for Collie and with Mike Wallace coming out strong today, I will have room to rotate these two with Santana Moss for my WR2 and WR/TE Flex spot. Sims-Walker may get packaged in with someone for name recognition sake in a trade at some point, I think.Never the less, MJD is extremely disappointing, so I will be rotating the other guys in until I see a consistent floor for MJD. If the pattern was at least 10 points per week, I wouldn't mind sticking him in there, but that game against San Diego was abysmal.

I got lucky in that SD game ... He got 3 points for 3 solo tackles in my league (and Sims-Walker got two). Combined, they had more tackles than Kirk Morrison (who I would love to dump, but now no one wants him).

From years of watching it, DeAngelo ALWAYS starts off slow. He's usually terrible for the first four weeks in terms of numbers, but in week 5 he will start to produce. He will start to produce either this Sunday or next, guaranteed.

As for me, Heath Miller. I'm hoping that Big Ben will help him when he returns, but as my only TE, he's been killing me this season. Also, I'm dropping the Patriots defense, because if you can't stop the Bills, then you don't need to be on my team.

I have Favre in a Start-2 QB league (we only roster 2 QBs) and I'm going to try and drop him for Sanchez this week. I'm waving the white flag. That passing offense has no juice without Rice and the first game out of the bye is against the Jets, who expect to have Revis back for that game. I'm done.

I have noticed this pattern from game stats in the past. This week was a good start.....6.4 ypc. I refuse to bench him.

me too.... thankfully I took them in the 2nd and 2rd rounds with Peterson in the 1st.... so the sting is not too bad.One source of solace is the fact that both guys are healthy and are producing when given the chance....I cant see Fox watching the game tape of D Will and not wanting to get him more touches....6.4 ypc and Stewart fumbling bodes well for D Will.

DWill's firmly on my bench until Fox decides to feed him the ball. MSW's shown he's going to be a spot play at best, but I think I'll still start him next week vs. Indy.

I was going to throw DeAngelo on my bench, but if Ray Rice misses any time I'll be forced to throw him back out there. Calvin's going to the bench behind Collie, Maclin, and Nicks.

I still trust that those two will get it together, but Shaun Hill has turned Calvin into a possession receiver and Williams is just getting killed by inept play around him.

im on the fence with megatron too. Luckily he is my WR3 right now, so im ok with him as a boom or bust player at that slot on my roster, but i did expect more consistent numbers out of him. I'd really like to see what happens when stafford throws it to him. That first game, CJ had one look from stafford and is now dealing with shaun hill throwing the ball. Without the robbed TD in that game one, CJ isn't having a terrible year. This week against a tough minny D who didnt give hill any time to line up and throw the ball.

I'm a little worried, but im not going to give up hope on him yet. The fact that they will be behind most of the year is at least a bit inspiring for a handful of big plays and the sky should be the limit whenever stafford makes his return.

So, who would have thought that this RB corps would suck so bad in the preseason?

Maurice Jones-Drew, Reggie Bush & Jonathan Stewart

Drafted Turner, Megatron, DeWill and ryan grant. nice 4 rounds. thought i got away with highway robbery getting DeWill and Grant in 3rd and 4th.

S. Smith (CAR) - started him over Maclin and will probably lose because of it  . With Claussen at QB...Smith will not see my lineup until he proves himself.
