As many of you know from following my blog, I have stage III cancer, possibly stage IV if this nodule found in my lung happens to be a met from my cancer. The new neighbors are quiet and seem like lovely people. The only problem is a frequent guest of theirs smokes and I mean a lot. He's coughing out a lung while doing so. While I have tried to seal my windows the best I can, smoke still seeps through and irritates me, especially when it reminds me of the nodule sitting in my lung.
I already have 2 air purifiers going full speed where I spend most of my time (in the living room). They do a great job but unfortunately not with cig smoke. When he lights up, I even turn on my fans to help to no avail. So do I spend money I don't really have to spare right now and get another air purifier geared for cig smoke (for which I haven't yet found any through the many reviews I've dug through) or take my bald ### head over there and kindly ask the gent to please can it. Note: where I live you can only smoke in your place and on your patio so there is no saying take it to the other side.
And, does anyone know of a non-industrial air purifier that truly takes care of cig smoke? I found one somewhere that was $1500 and huge. Definitely out of my space and price range.
TIA
