$150 Salary cap auction league with 14 teams. Already keeping Deebo $4 and Chase $3. Debating between a $50 Ekeler or $2 AJ Dillon. Ekeler would probably cost me $55+ to re-sign him.

So the $50 is not the price you are paying? I would think there would be an amount it would cost you. If $55, I think it is too much, at $50 is doable as I have his price at around $45 ish. and I think Dillon at $2 is a steal. Deebo and Chase are "steals" also, thus leaving you with plenty to get your team...

Given what you are paying for the WRs, I would easily keep Ekeler.
It should be noted that while I think Dillion is a fine player, I dont buy into the hype thats hes going to get significant work.

I am, I project Dillon is going to get approximately a 50 - 50 split with Jones.

That’s kind of where my thinking is. If I want to get Ecu back, I would only have to spend approximately 5 to 8 dollars more than I already have him for him to get him back, Dillon probably would cost $15-20 I’m guessing

I keep Dillon easily but I am very high on Dillon. The savings you get from those three would allow you to overpay for someone like Ekeler if you are so inclined.

Agree with the herd, protect Dillon. Sounds like you can re-acquire Ekeler for a marginal increase if you are so inclined, I guarantee that wouldn't be the case for Dillon. I also see that one of the top 7 RBs usually goes relatively cheap in auctions this year.
